象似性視角下的詞匯教學(xué)研究

詞匯是語言的組成單位之一,它在語言交流中起著重要作用。在英語教學(xué)中,詞匯扮演著重要的角色,尤其是在培養(yǎng)學(xué)習(xí)者聽說讀寫譯等技能方面。 隨著認(rèn)知語言學(xué)的發(fā)展,學(xué)者們開始從認(rèn)知的角度去研究和解釋各種語言現(xiàn)象。而象似性作為認(rèn)知語言學(xué)領(lǐng)域的一個重點,逐漸成為語言學(xué)領(lǐng)域的一個熱點話題。語言象似性是指語言符號的能指和所指之間有一種內(nèi)在的聯(lián)系,兩者的結(jié)合是可以論證的,是有理據(jù)的(沈家煊,1993)。象似性所探討語言的能指與所指的關(guān)系為教學(xué)提供了新的啟示。本文主要探討象似性理論在詞匯教學(xué)中的運(yùn)用。Householder在調(diào)查中發(fā)現(xiàn),90%的詞匯都具有理據(jù)性,因此研究象似性在詞匯教學(xué)中的作用有著重要的意義(杜文禮,1996)。它不僅能夠更好的指導(dǎo)教學(xué),而且能夠幫助學(xué)生更加容易有效的學(xué)習(xí)詞匯。然而,學(xué)者們將視角更多的用于探討語言的任意性和象似性,而象似性運(yùn)用方面的研究較少,這正是本文從象似性視角研究詞匯教學(xué)的原因。 Stephen Ullman將詞匯象似性分為語音象似性、詞形象似性、詞義象似性。Bollinger將詞源象似性也看做是詞匯象似性的一部分。本文將從語音、詞形、詞義和詞源的角度探討詞匯象似性,試圖...
