關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論視角下的科幻小說《暮晨夜》英漢翻譯報(bào)告

美國非裔科幻作家是科幻小說領(lǐng)域中不可忽視的的作家群,他們批判弱勢(shì)群體遭受到的不平等社會(huì)待遇,揭示舉步維艱的發(fā)展奮斗歷程,對(duì)于學(xué)者研究美國非裔作家尋求主流文化認(rèn)同有特殊意義。奧克塔維婭·巴特勒是美國非裔科幻作家群體中最具代表性的作家之一,她在1995年成為第一位以科幻小說獲得麥克阿瑟獎(jiǎng)的小說家。本翻譯報(bào)告選取其作品The Evening and the Morning and the Night(《暮晨夜》)進(jìn)行翻譯并撰寫翻譯報(bào)告,內(nèi)容涉及一群杜里埃病患者的故事,此作品曾在1987年獲得“年度科幻小說讀者喜愛獎(jiǎng)”,也曾經(jīng)入圍“西奧多·斯特金紀(jì)念獎(jiǎng)”和“星云獎(jiǎng)最佳中篇小說獎(jiǎng)”,目前尚無中文譯本。針對(duì)《暮晨夜》的文本特點(diǎn),筆者在本篇翻譯報(bào)告中以關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論作為指導(dǎo),對(duì)原文進(jìn)行英漢翻譯并撰寫出翻譯報(bào)告。報(bào)告由五部分組成,第一章主要介紹背景知識(shí)、翻譯過程以及本次翻譯報(bào)告的重要性;第二章分析了本作品的寫作特點(diǎn),即科學(xué)性、幻想性以及情節(jié)性;第三章著重于介紹關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論,包括最佳關(guān)聯(lián)和翻譯過程中三方面制約推理的因素:詞匯信息、邏輯信息和百科信息;第四章為案例分析,譯者通過選取大量的翻譯實(shí)例,探究如何在...
