紐馬克隱喻翻譯理論下宋詞詞牌名的英譯研究

宋詞是中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化的瑰寶。詞牌名,是詞不可分割的部分,亦是中國(guó)文化寶貴的組成部分。隱喻在詞牌名中普遍存在,這使得詞牌的英譯尤為困難。然而,這一現(xiàn)象在以往研究中并未受到人們的關(guān)注。本研究選取113個(gè)宋詞詞牌名作為研究對(duì)象,并選取其中六個(gè)詞牌名,搜集六個(gè)詞牌的六個(gè)英譯本,綜合分析以往詞牌名英譯法的優(yōu)勢(shì)和不足。基于此,本研究在紐馬克隱喻翻譯理論指導(dǎo)下,采用案例分析的方法,探究宋詞詞牌名隱喻英譯策略。本研究主要研究并回答以下三個(gè)問(wèn)題:(1)宋詞詞牌名中隱喻的文化來(lái)源有哪些?(2)這些詞牌名中隱喻的文化來(lái)源是如何影響詞牌名中隱喻的英譯?(3)宋詞詞牌名中隱喻英譯策略有哪些?研究發(fā)現(xiàn):(1)宋詞詞牌名中隱喻的文化來(lái)源主要有以下四種:神話傳說(shuō)、歷史故事、傳統(tǒng)習(xí)俗和價(jià)值觀。(2)文化重疊和差異決定了文化意象在英譯隱喻時(shí)是否應(yīng)該保留、轉(zhuǎn)換或舍棄,因此其在探究英譯詞牌名的策略中起著重要的決定性作用。(3)英譯宋詞詞牌名中的隱喻主要有以下四種策略:在目的語(yǔ)中重現(xiàn)相同喻體、保留源語(yǔ)隱喻加注釋、將隱喻轉(zhuǎn)化為明喻并加注釋,以及將隱喻轉(zhuǎn)化為非隱喻。詞牌名隱喻英譯研究,進(jìn)一步補(bǔ)充了詞牌名的研究?jī)?nèi)容。本研究提出的詞牌名...
