新批評理論視角下《圍城》意象英譯研究

新批評理論作為西方現(xiàn)代文學理論派別,于20世紀初產(chǎn)生于英國,后發(fā)展于美國,是一種關注文學文本的形式主義批評,認為文學的本體即作品,提倡文學批評應以作品為中心,并對作品進行充分而細致的內部研究。其具體內容表現(xiàn)為:在文本觀上,堅持以文學作品為中心的作品本體論、有機整體論;在語義觀上,重視語言的模糊與多義;在修辭觀上,提出“張力”、“反諷”等術語,關注文學作品的語言結構和審美價值,充分肯定文學是獨立的藝術世界。文學語言作為一種詩性的語言,旨在彰顯存在的魅力,并讓人有美的感受。文學翻譯作為一種特殊的表達,首要任務是使源語被具有一定水平的讀者所理解,這就需要譯者深度探析原文本,從而將原文本中的非常規(guī)語言轉化為跨語文化中具有較好接受性的符號信息而不失原文韻味。由此可見,探析原文本在文學翻譯過程中占據(jù)重要地位,作為文論的“新批評”可伺機為文學翻譯提供理論指導。錢鐘書的《圍城》作為一部貫通中西文化的有力之作,具有頗高的文學價值,體現(xiàn)了作者高超的語言文字駕馭能力與表達才能,將表現(xiàn)的內容材料釋放出了內在的藝術美感。其中關于意象的描寫俯拾皆是,一時一景,一情一境,作者都能將其轉化為灌注著個人主觀情思的意象,...
