基于語料庫從雙性同體角度對譯者風格的探究 ——以《簡·愛》為例

傳統(tǒng)觀點認為,翻譯活動是一種模仿活動,而非創(chuàng)造性活動;譯者只是服務于源文,以再現(xiàn)源文的文本風格為目的。近幾十年來學術界不斷發(fā)展,人們對翻譯這項活動的認識不斷加深,譯者風格逐步成為翻譯研究的重點之一。譯者風格(translator’s style)一般是指譯者在翻譯過程中留下的譯者痕跡,即譯本中除了作者之外的聲音,具體來說可以是翻譯策略的選擇和翻譯表達的偏好。以霍姆斯和圖里等為代表的學者提倡用描寫性翻譯學的方法來研究譯者風格;而語料庫翻譯研究方法的興起令翻譯研究逐步擺脫零星的、主觀的研究模式,為全面客觀評價譯者風格提供了契機。雙性同體這個概念由來已久,指的是不同性別氣質(zhì)存在在同一個體之中。隨著女性權利意識的不斷提高,女性主義翻譯理論迅速發(fā)展。學者們開始探索如何利用性別因素更好地完成翻譯。本論文研究的核心問題正是男性譯者能否忠實再現(xiàn)女性作者作品中的女性風格和思想�！逗啇邸肥桥骷也侍氐囊徊烤哂絮r明女性主義特色的作品。本文選取《簡愛》女性譯者黃淑仁譯本和男性譯者宋兆霖譯本為研究對象。本研究通過建立原著與兩譯本平行語料庫,大量實例對比,以及增加兩位譯者的背景與意識形態(tài)來對比分析黃譯本和宋譯本...
