意圖豈能成為謬誤——張江與本尼特、羅伊爾、莫德、博斯托克英國(guó)對(duì)話錄

【摘要】:文學(xué)作品是有意義的,它就是作者運(yùn)用文學(xué)語言和藝術(shù)形式力圖表達(dá)的世界觀、人生觀、價(jià)值觀,亦即作者對(duì)自然、社會(huì)、歷史和人的看法。這是從古代到近代文學(xué)研究和文學(xué)批評(píng)領(lǐng)域的主流觀點(diǎn)。然而,進(jìn)入20世紀(jì),特別是自20世紀(jì)40年代起,這一觀點(diǎn)受到許多文學(xué)理論研究者的質(zhì)疑和挑戰(zhàn)。在西方各種哲學(xué)流派以及語言學(xué)、心理學(xué)、社會(huì)學(xué)乃至自然科學(xué)領(lǐng)域各種思潮的影響之下,一些文學(xué)理論研究者和文學(xué)批評(píng)者嘗試借用或援引文學(xué)之外的理論和方法,對(duì)文學(xué)作品的意義作出與傳統(tǒng)不同的闡釋。羅蘭·巴特《作者之死》(The Death Of The Author)問世后,在中西學(xué)界引起廣泛關(guān)注。后結(jié)構(gòu)主義觀點(diǎn)認(rèn)為,語言無法可靠地反映現(xiàn)實(shí),文學(xué)無法清晰地反映生活;既然無法對(duì)文學(xué)作品進(jìn)行最終的確切性的解讀,那么任何理解都可能是誤讀。在日趨激烈的爭(zhēng)鳴與論辯中,人們始終抱持這樣一個(gè)疑問:作者是否還是文本意義的可靠來源?多年來,中國(guó)社會(huì)科學(xué)院副院長(zhǎng)張江教授密切關(guān)注當(dāng)代西方文論的發(fā)展與流變,他針對(duì)當(dāng)代西方文論存在問題提出的"強(qiáng)制闡釋論"、"理論中心論"等,引起國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)界廣泛關(guān)注和熱烈討論。2016年12月初,張江教授率團(tuán)對(duì)英國(guó)進(jìn)行學(xué)術(shù)訪問期間,在蘇塞克斯大學(xué)與英國(guó)專家學(xué)者進(jìn)行了座談,圍繞文學(xué)作品的意義和作者的意圖等文學(xué)批評(píng)理論的原點(diǎn)問題,結(jié)合具體文學(xué)作品及文學(xué)創(chuàng)作實(shí)踐展開討論,F(xiàn)將張江教授與英國(guó)專家學(xué)者對(duì)話的主要內(nèi)容摘錄發(fā)表,以為學(xué)界同仁借鑒和參考。
[Abstract]:Literary works are meaningful. They are the world outlook, outlook on life and values which the author tries to express by using literary language and artistic forms, that is, the author's views on nature, society, history and human beings. This is the mainstream point of view in the field of literary research and literary criticism from ancient to modern times. However, in the 20th century, especially since the 1940s, this view has been questioned and challenged by many researchers of literary theory. Under the influence of various philosophical schools in the West, as well as various ideological trends in linguistics, psychology, sociology and even natural sciences, some literary theory researchers and literary critics have tried to borrow or cite theories and methods other than literature. Make a different interpretation of the meaning of literary works from the traditional. (The Death Of The Author), the author's death by Roland Bart, has attracted extensive attention in Chinese and Western circles. From the viewpoint of post-structuralism, language can not reliably reflect reality and literature can not clearly reflect life; since it is impossible to interpret literary works with final accuracy, then any understanding may be misreading. In the increasingly fierce debate and debate, people always hold the question: is the author still a reliable source of the meaning of the text? Over the years, Professor Zhang Jiang, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, has paid close attention to the development and evolution of contemporary western literary theory. He has put forward "compulsory hermeneutics" and "theoretical centralism" in response to the problems existing in contemporary western literary theory, and so on. In early December 2016, Professor Zhang Jiang led a delegation to the United Kingdom during an academic visit to the United Kingdom, during which he held a discussion with British experts and scholars at Sussex University. Focusing on the origin of literary criticism theory such as the meaning of literary works and the author's intention, this paper discusses the specific literary works and the practice of literary creation. The main contents of the dialogue between Professor Zhang Jiang and British experts and scholars are excerpted and published for the reference of academic colleagues.
