熟知英語教學史的人都知道,二十世紀是英語教學法出現(xiàn)最多的世紀。在理論上,英語教學法已經(jīng)形成一門完善的學科。在實踐中,它也有一支一直在不斷擴大的實踐隊伍。其理論研究的成果在指導英語教學實踐方面起著重要的作用。英語教學法理論的不斷變換促進了英語教學法的變換。然而,在二十世紀末,美國著名應用語言學家?guī)飕斕岢?外語教學已經(jīng)進入后方法時代。他認為單純的使用某一種外語教學法進行外語教學已經(jīng)不符合時代的要求。為此,他提出了外語教學的三個維度和十條基本原則,旨在用這一理念指導后方法時代的英語教學。外語教師作為這一理念的重要執(zhí)行者,在這一過程中扮演著重要的角色。因此,這又為我們對英語教師身份的研究提供了一個新的視角,即在后方法視角下,初中英語教師在外語教學中呈現(xiàn)出什么樣的身份以及呈現(xiàn)這些身份的原因。在本研究中,作者以后方法為視角,主要通過訪談法和問卷調(diào)查法,來研究后方法時代初中英語教師的身份。本研究注重解決兩個問題:(1)初中英語老師在課堂上呈現(xiàn)出何種身份?(2)初中英語老師在課堂上呈現(xiàn)某種身份的原因是什么?針對上述問題,作者對沈丘縣三所初級中學的30名英語教師和600名學生進行了調(diào)查研究。本研究首先通過...
