　　隨著我國(guó)綜合國(guó)力的增強(qiáng),中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化不斷被介紹到國(guó)外。中國(guó)典籍,作為中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化中不可忽視的元素,被譯成各種語(yǔ)言,其中包括詩(shī)歌、小說(shuō)和戲劇。根據(jù)眾多學(xué)者研究的結(jié)果,漢語(yǔ)屬于語(yǔ)義型語(yǔ)言,常采用意合法,而英語(yǔ)屬于形態(tài)型語(yǔ)言,常采用形合法。這說(shuō)明漢語(yǔ)是隱性的,英語(yǔ)是顯性的。古典散文運(yùn)用的是古漢語(yǔ),其隱化程度高于現(xiàn)代漢語(yǔ)。因此在漢譯英時(shí),譯者需要將原文中隱去的部分顯化出來(lái),這樣不僅符合英語(yǔ)表達(dá)習(xí)慣,而且使得文章更加通俗易懂。顯化,作為翻譯過(guò)程中的一種普遍現(xiàn)象,引起了許多學(xué)者的關(guān)注,最早注意到翻譯顯化這一現(xiàn)象的是Vinay和Darbelnet。隨后關(guān)于顯化的研究層出不窮,但國(guó)內(nèi)研究起步較晚,開(kāi)始于20世紀(jì)末21世紀(jì)初。目前大多數(shù)顯化研究的對(duì)象集中在小說(shuō)語(yǔ)篇,政治經(jīng)濟(jì)語(yǔ)篇,科學(xué)語(yǔ)篇和學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)篇,很少以中國(guó)古典散文為研究對(duì)象,并且從系統(tǒng)功能語(yǔ)言學(xué)角度研究顯化現(xiàn)象的文章更少。因此本文以定性分析為主、定量分析為輔,在系統(tǒng)功能語(yǔ)言學(xué)框架下,探究中國(guó)古典散文英譯本中經(jīng)驗(yàn)意義、人際意義和語(yǔ)篇意義的顯化,并討論其顯化方式和潛在的顯化動(dòng)因。研究結(jié)果表明,三種元功能意義在英譯文中都被顯化。就經(jīng)驗(yàn)意義而言,關(guān)系過(guò)程和物...
