認(rèn)知語(yǔ)法視角下的英語(yǔ)現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行體研究

  “體”是英語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的特征之一,是用來(lái)表示動(dòng)作或過(guò)程在一定時(shí)間內(nèi)處于何種狀態(tài)的動(dòng)詞形式,分為完成體和進(jìn)行體。英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行體表示動(dòng)作的進(jìn)行,是英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法的中心部分或核心語(yǔ)法范疇,吸引了國(guó)內(nèi)外大量學(xué)者對(duì)此結(jié)構(gòu)進(jìn)行研究。國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)者分別從傳統(tǒng)語(yǔ)法視角、轉(zhuǎn)換生成語(yǔ)法視角、功能語(yǔ)法視角、認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)視角對(duì)英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行體的基本特征進(jìn)行了較為細(xì)致的研究。但是,很少學(xué)者對(duì)英語(yǔ)現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行體結(jié)構(gòu)的認(rèn)知機(jī)制問(wèn)題做出解釋。因此,本文嘗試從認(rèn)知語(yǔ)法視角對(duì)英語(yǔ)現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行體的認(rèn)知機(jī)制問(wèn)題進(jìn)行研究。在Langacker的認(rèn)知語(yǔ)法理論下,本文提出了動(dòng)詞的劃界與解界、側(cè)顯、小句入場(chǎng)為英語(yǔ)現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行體的認(rèn)知機(jī)制。本文運(yùn)用認(rèn)知語(yǔ)法中的劃界與解界理論和入場(chǎng)理論,旨在解決以下問(wèn)題:持續(xù)動(dòng)詞與非持續(xù)動(dòng)詞的劃分機(jī)制是什么?非過(guò)程性和過(guò)程性是怎樣轉(zhuǎn)換的?動(dòng)詞所突顯的某一過(guò)程又是怎樣進(jìn)入英語(yǔ)現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行體的?研究得出以下三結(jié)論:第一,動(dòng)詞分為持續(xù)動(dòng)詞和非持續(xù)動(dòng)詞,這兩類動(dòng)詞的劃分認(rèn)知機(jī)制是根據(jù)劃界理論并類比可數(shù)名詞與物質(zhì)名詞的劃分而區(qū)分的,只有非持續(xù)類動(dòng)詞才可以用于現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行體。第二,動(dòng)詞側(cè)顯一個(gè)復(fù)雜關(guān)系,在這一過(guò)程中“-ing”形式采取內(nèi)部視角識(shí)解此刻的動(dòng)作,從而...
