CB-Omni and SamStat-20C/30C Product Specifications漢譯報告

本報告基于筆者在賽默飛世爾科技有限公司化學(xué)分析事業(yè)部實習(xí)期間所翻譯的CB-Omni在線元素分析儀和SamStat-20/30C冶金采樣系統(tǒng)相關(guān)材料,希望為技術(shù)產(chǎn)品說明手冊類文本的譯者提供參考。本報告以此翻譯項目文本為研究對象,以功能主義視角為出發(fā)點,針對該項目文本的文本特點,探究翻譯過程中的問題和難點,研討如何產(chǎn)出準(zhǔn)確易懂的譯文。報告全文共分為六部分。第一部分是引言,介紹了我國技術(shù)產(chǎn)品說明手冊英譯的現(xiàn)狀,并指出,由于缺乏統(tǒng)一規(guī)范的標(biāo)準(zhǔn),此類文本的翻譯質(zhì)量堪憂。第二部分介紹了翻譯項目,翻譯文本的背景信息及翻譯目的。第三部分介紹了譯前準(zhǔn)備工作,包括制定工作計劃、選擇理論框架、制作英漢對照術(shù)語表。第四部分描述了翻譯過程,并分析了潛在的翻譯難點。第五部分選取譯例展開分析,以目的論三原則為指導(dǎo),提出有助于解決常見問題的翻譯方法。第六部分結(jié)論是筆者對翻譯項目的總結(jié)與體會。
