　　Way構(gòu)式[SUBJi[V[POSSi way]OBL]]是英語論元結(jié)構(gòu)構(gòu)式的主要形式之一,是指主語指稱沿著介詞短語所指的路徑移動,表征空間創(chuàng)路位移事件。自Goldberg（1995）的《構(gòu)式:論元結(jié)構(gòu)的構(gòu)式語法研究》一書發(fā)表以來,way構(gòu)式的研究一直得到國內(nèi)外構(gòu)式語法學者持續(xù)關(guān)注。學界普遍接受Goldberg（1995）的共時構(gòu)式觀,側(cè)重對way構(gòu)式的定性描寫,具體包括準入動詞的語義規(guī)約、語義關(guān)聯(lián)度以及準入動詞與構(gòu)式的內(nèi)在融合。隨著歷時構(gòu)式語法的產(chǎn)生,語義變化、形態(tài)音位變化及搭配限制等構(gòu)式內(nèi)部變化對構(gòu)式發(fā)展的影響逐漸進入人們的視野。如何從構(gòu)式演變的角度追蹤構(gòu)式演變的軌跡和構(gòu)式化路徑,進而解釋語言演化的規(guī)律,已成為構(gòu)式研究的熱點。但現(xiàn)有的有關(guān)way構(gòu)式的歷時研究還不夠成熟,為數(shù)不多的歷時研究（如Israel,1996）,主要采用列舉的方式,概括way構(gòu)式在空間創(chuàng)路位移方面的變化。顯然,對way構(gòu)式發(fā)展的定性描寫并不能充分揭示構(gòu)式內(nèi)部結(jié)構(gòu)的動態(tài)變化,因此有必要從實證數(shù)據(jù)出發(fā),對way構(gòu)式的內(nèi)部變化進行多維考察揭示way構(gòu)式歷時演變的內(nèi)在動因,促進構(gòu)式語法歷時研究的發(fā)展。我們認為,way構(gòu)...
