【摘要】：自20世紀(jì)90年代冷戰(zhàn)以來,美國綜合國力迅速提升,在經(jīng)濟(jì)、軍事等諸多領(lǐng)域都處于世界領(lǐng)先水平,但如日中天的美國霸權(quán)主義也面臨一系列的問題,美國哈佛大學(xué)肯尼迪政治學(xué)院院長約瑟夫·奈,在The Paradox of American Power:Why The World Superpower Can’t Go It Alone一書中,從一個(gè)學(xué)者的角度看美國的政治決策,對美國的政治現(xiàn)狀和硬實(shí)力、軟實(shí)力進(jìn)行了客觀的描述,給人們帶來了新的啟發(fā)。信息化和全球化腳步加快,國內(nèi)社會(huì)問題的存在都制約著美國的發(fā)展。9·11事件更是給美國乃至世界敲響了警鐘。美國的發(fā)展對世界格局有著重要的影響,理應(yīng)迅速調(diào)整對內(nèi)對外政策,才能在世界舞臺(tái)上屹立不倒。本文根據(jù)約瑟夫·奈的The Paradox of American Power:Why The World Superpower Can’t Go It Alone,對其第四章國內(nèi)問題進(jìn)行了翻譯,該章節(jié)主要分析了美國國內(nèi)存在的諸多政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、軍事、文化方面的問題。該篇論文主要有五部分組成,第一部分是翻譯的緣起,第二部分是翻譯的任務(wù)介紹,第三部分是翻譯理論,第四部分是功能加忠誠理論在翻譯實(shí)踐中的應(yīng)用,第五部分是結(jié)語。本篇翻譯實(shí)踐是以諾德的功能加忠誠理論為指導(dǎo),從翻譯的目的、意義,譯前準(zhǔn)備,翻譯過程中遇到的問題,功能加忠誠理論在翻譯過程中的具體應(yīng)用,總結(jié)翻譯經(jīng)驗(yàn),反思不足,以此指導(dǎo)今后的翻譯實(shí)踐。
[Abstract]:Since the Cold War in 1990s, the overall national strength of the United States has rapidly increased, in the economy, military and other fields are in the world leading level, but the United States hegemonism is also facing a series of problems. From a scholar's point of view, the political decision-making of the United States, the political status quo and hard power, soft power of the United States are described objectively, which has brought new inspiration to people. The existence of domestic social problems restricts the development of the United States. The events of 9.11 have even sounded the alarm bell for the United States and the world. The development of the United States has an important impact on the world pattern. Domestic and foreign policy should be adjusted quickly. To survive on the world stage. According to The Paradox of American Power:Why The World. Superpower Can't Go It Alone. Chapter 4th is translated into domestic problems. This chapter mainly analyzes many political, economic, military and cultural problems in the United States. The thesis consists of five parts. The first part is the origin of translation, the second part is the task of translation, the third part is the translation theory, and the 4th part is the application of the theory of function and loyalty in translation practice. Part 5th is the conclusion. The translation practice is guided by Nord's theory of function and loyalty, from the point of view of the purpose, meaning, preparation of translation and problems encountered in the process of translation. The concrete application of functional-loyalty theory in the process of translation, summing up the translation experience and reflecting on the insufficiency, so as to guide the translation practice in the future.
