英漢“破壞”類(lèi)近義詞語(yǔ)義韻對(duì)比研究

  近義詞辨析一直是語(yǔ)言教學(xué)中的難點(diǎn)。由于近義詞在概念意義上的相似性,它們總被認(rèn)為是完全對(duì)等的,造成非典型搭配甚至是偏誤。近年來(lái),隨著語(yǔ)料庫(kù)語(yǔ)言學(xué)的興起,語(yǔ)義韻研究逐漸成為熱門(mén)課題。語(yǔ)義韻指的是節(jié)點(diǎn)詞與其搭配詞之間的語(yǔ)義氛圍。通過(guò)探索節(jié)點(diǎn)詞的頻數(shù)、顯著搭配詞以及相應(yīng)的語(yǔ)義韻,研究者能夠更加全面地了解該詞項(xiàng)。這為詞匯尤其是近義詞辨析提供了很好的方法。除此之外,這對(duì)英漢對(duì)等詞的翻譯也有很大的參考價(jià)值;诖,本研究選取了“破壞”類(lèi)動(dòng)詞DESTROY及其近義詞DAMAGE,RUIN,HARM以及它們的的漢語(yǔ)翻譯對(duì)等詞破壞、損壞、毀壞、損害作為研究詞項(xiàng)。本研究采用基于語(yǔ)料庫(kù)以及對(duì)比的方法。以美國(guó)當(dāng)代英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)料庫(kù)(COCA)和北京語(yǔ)言大學(xué)語(yǔ)料庫(kù)中心(BCC)的語(yǔ)料為基礎(chǔ),對(duì)英漢兩組近義詞的頻數(shù)、顯著搭配詞以及相應(yīng)的語(yǔ)義韻進(jìn)行對(duì)比。研究結(jié)果如下:第一,英漢“破壞”類(lèi)近義詞的使用頻率在語(yǔ)內(nèi)和語(yǔ)際間均存在顯著性差異?偟膩(lái)說(shuō),DESTROY和破壞的使用頻率最高且遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)高于同組內(nèi)的其它詞項(xiàng);第二,英漢“破壞”類(lèi)近義詞的顯著搭配詞在語(yǔ)內(nèi)和語(yǔ)際間均存在異同。具體而言,在英語(yǔ)中,DESTROY的顯著搭配詞最多,使用范...
