從創(chuàng)造性叛逆探析葛浩文英譯《酒國(guó)》

【摘要】:創(chuàng)造性叛逆是法國(guó)文學(xué)社會(huì)學(xué)家埃斯卡皮(1987:137)在其專著《文學(xué)社會(huì)學(xué)》中提出的翻譯中的現(xiàn)象,并說(shuō)“翻譯總是一種創(chuàng)造性的叛逆”。翻譯的叛逆性體現(xiàn)在翻譯把作品置于一個(gè)完全沒(méi)有預(yù)料到的語(yǔ)言系統(tǒng)中;翻譯的創(chuàng)造性體現(xiàn)在翻譯賦予作品新的生命,使之能被更多讀者閱讀。這一概念在國(guó)內(nèi)得到進(jìn)一步發(fā)展,且文學(xué)翻譯中的創(chuàng)造性叛逆具有一定研究?jī)r(jià)值。對(duì)于莫言的獲獎(jiǎng),譯者葛浩文功不可沒(méi)。作為翻譯莫言作品最多的美國(guó)漢學(xué)家,葛浩文的翻譯使得莫言的作品可以在世界傳播,受到對(duì)中國(guó)文學(xué)感興趣的西方讀者的喜愛(ài)。《酒國(guó)》這部作品深受莫言本人及葛浩文的喜愛(ài),但國(guó)內(nèi)外對(duì)其翻譯的研究還相對(duì)較少。本文擬從創(chuàng)造性叛逆這一角度對(duì)《酒國(guó)》英譯本進(jìn)行分析,通過(guò)查閱、分析大量中英文文獻(xiàn),總結(jié)了對(duì)創(chuàng)造性叛逆、譯者葛浩文的翻譯以及該作品英譯的研究現(xiàn)狀,進(jìn)而對(duì)譯者在翻譯《酒國(guó)》時(shí)的創(chuàng)造性叛逆的表現(xiàn)進(jìn)行了細(xì)致分析,包括語(yǔ)言和文化層面譯者的創(chuàng)造性叛逆,并從更為細(xì)致的角度結(jié)合作品中的例子對(duì)譯者的創(chuàng)造性叛逆做出全面分析。本文對(duì)譯者的誤譯以及該英譯本在英語(yǔ)世界的接受情況也進(jìn)行了探討,發(fā)現(xiàn)對(duì)于該作品的評(píng)價(jià)總體上褒貶不一,但評(píng)論家對(duì)葛浩文的翻譯總體持肯定態(tài)度。通過(guò)對(duì)《酒國(guó)》英譯本的分析,希望可以豐富對(duì)莫言的文學(xué)世界以及葛浩文翻譯的研究。
[Abstract]:Creative treason is a phenomenon in translation proposed by French literary sociologist Eskapi 1987: 137in his monograph Sociology of Literature, saying that "translation is always a kind of creative treason".The rebelliousness of translation lies in the fact that translation puts the work in a completely unexpected language system, and the creativity of translation lies in the fact that translation gives a new life to the work so that it can be read by more readers.This concept has been further developed in China, and creative treason in literary translation is of great value.For Mo Yan's award, the translator Gehor-wen can not be ignored.As the American sinologist who translated most of Mo Yan's works, the translation of GE Haowen allowed Mo Yan's works to be disseminated throughout the world.It is loved by Western readers who are interested in Chinese literature. The novel is popular with Mo Yan and Gehor, but there is relatively little research on its translation at home and abroad.From the perspective of creative treason, this paper attempts to analyze the English version of Wine State. By consulting and analyzing a large number of Chinese and English literature, this paper summarizes the current situation of research on creative treason, the translation of the translator, the translation of the translator, and the translation of the novel into English.Then the author makes a detailed analysis of the performance of the translator's creative treason in the translation of "Wine country", including the linguistic and cultural aspects of the translator's creative treason.The author also makes a comprehensive analysis of the translator's creative treason from a more detailed point of view.This paper also discusses the translation of the translator and the acceptance of the English translation in the English world. It is found that the evaluation of the work is generally mixed, but the critics generally hold a positive attitude towards the translation of the novel.Based on the analysis of the English version of "the Wine country", the author hopes to enrich the study of Mo Yan's literary world and the translation of Gehor.
