【摘要】：語言活動是語言世界圖景的單位,每一種語言都記錄著一個民族獨特的世界觀和認知模式。語言世界圖景理論的研究就是以“人的因素”為核心內(nèi)容的語言、思維/認知、現(xiàn)實三者相互關(guān)系的語言學研究,即作為認知主體的人,以自身的感知體驗為基礎(chǔ),以具有民族文化特征的語言為中介來對外部世界樸素的概念及觀念的認知總和。 人類的各種社會活動都是在一定的時空中進行完成的,由于時間看不見摸不著的抽象特質(zhì),人們沒有感知時間的器官,因此時間概念需要借助一些別的語義范疇來映射和表征。當我們將空間的概念范疇映射到時間概念上就形成了時間的空間隱喻。雖然英語和漢語這兩種語言在表征時間概念的具體方式上存在個別的差異,但他們卻共享著“時間是空間”的概念隱喻。人類正是在社會活動中不斷認識時間才構(gòu)建了時間詞匯,在此基礎(chǔ)上人們構(gòu)建了樸素的世界圖景。 本文是在語言世界圖景和隱喻理論的指導下,又根據(jù)英語和漢語的特點進行對比研究將時間的空間隱喻歸結(jié)為幾種特殊的形式,并著重分析時間的空間隱喻機制,以此來深入了解整個時間機制的運作模式,也展現(xiàn)英漢兩大民族中豐富的語言世界圖景。探析英漢時間的空間隱喻可以看出這兩種語言存在跨文化的共性和個性,這在一定程度上證明了語言是人類思維的工具,也印證了時間的空間隱喻表征體現(xiàn)的是“以人為核心”的人格化概念,從而進一步窺探到每個民族的心理、民族個性、民族認知和民族文化。
[Abstract]:Language activity is the unit of linguistic world picture, each language has recorded a nation's unique world outlook and cognitive mode. The study of linguistic world picture theory is the language with "human factor" as the core content. The linguistic study of the interrelation of thinking / cognition and reality, that is, the human being, as the cognitive subject, is based on his own perceptual experience. Take the language with the national culture characteristic as the intermediary to the external world simple concept and the concept cognition summation. All kinds of social activities of human beings are completed in a certain time and space. Because of the abstract characteristics of time that can not be seen and touched, people have no organs to perceive time. Therefore, the concept of time needs to be mapped and represented by some other semantic categories. When we map the conceptual category of space to the concept of time, we form the spatial metaphor of time. Although English and Chinese are two languages in the table. There are individual differences in the concrete ways of the concept of sign time. However, they share the conceptual metaphor of "time is space". It is in the social activities that human beings have constantly recognized time to construct time vocabulary, and on this basis, people have constructed a simple world picture. Under the guidance of linguistic world picture and metaphor theory, this paper makes a contrastive study on the spatial metaphor of time into several special forms according to the characteristics of English and Chinese. It also focuses on the spatial metaphor mechanism of time in order to understand the operation mode of the whole time mechanism in depth. By analyzing the spatial metaphors of English and Chinese, we can see that the two languages have cross-cultural commonness and individuality. This proves to a certain extent that language is the tool of human thinking, and it also confirms that the spatial metaphor of time embodies the concept of personalization of "human being as the core", thus further exploring the psychology of each nation.
