　　隨著中外文化的不斷交流與發(fā)展,越來越多的歷史傳記深受讀者青睞,這也對歷史傳記的翻譯工作提出了更高的要求,不僅要保證歷史的真實(shí)性,還要兼具作品的文學(xué)色彩。以《暹羅1688》(The History of Siam,1688)的第三章內(nèi)容為翻譯材料,《暹羅1688》漢譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告旨在通過傳記了解歷史的同時(shí),總結(jié)歷史傳記類文本的語言特點(diǎn)和翻譯技巧。尤金·奈達(dá)的功能對等理論強(qiáng)調(diào),在翻譯過程中,應(yīng)該尋求一種最切近自然的對等關(guān)系,實(shí)現(xiàn)文本文化內(nèi)涵的傳遞,這也正符合歷史傳記類文本的翻譯要求�；�于功能對等理論,《暹羅1688》漢譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告從詞匯、句法、語篇和風(fēng)格四個(gè)方面的對等對歷史傳記類文本的語言特點(diǎn)和翻譯技巧進(jìn)行研究總結(jié),體現(xiàn)了功能對等理論在歷史傳記類文本的翻譯中具有指導(dǎo)意義。另外,在翻譯歷史傳記類文本的過程中,《暹羅1688》漢譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告具有一定的現(xiàn)實(shí)意義,通過對原文本的翻譯、校對和對平行文本的參考,以及對歷史書籍的查閱,更加客觀地再現(xiàn)了帕碧羅阇這一歷史人物的形象特點(diǎn)以及17世紀(jì)的殖民擴(kuò)張運(yùn)動和大國邦交策略。圖0幅;表1個(gè);參31篇
