隨著我國(guó)對(duì)外交流的不斷深化,旅游文獻(xiàn)的翻譯,特別是名人故居等文化旅游資源的翻譯在中外文化交流中扮演著日益重要的角色,高質(zhì)量的旅游文獻(xiàn)翻譯不僅能高效地介紹旅游景點(diǎn),吸引更多外國(guó)游客,而且能加深他們對(duì)名人生平事跡與中國(guó)歷史文化故事的了解,提升旅游的文化交流意義,塑造良好的中國(guó)對(duì)外形象。然而,目前的國(guó)內(nèi)許多城市的名人故居簡(jiǎn)介翻譯質(zhì)量令人堪憂,嚴(yán)重影響了外國(guó)游客對(duì)我國(guó)名人故居與城市旅游形象的良好印象,再加之到目前為止以名人故居簡(jiǎn)介翻譯為主要研究對(duì)象的文獻(xiàn)尚為數(shù)不多,因此,加強(qiáng)名人故居旅游文獻(xiàn)的翻譯研究勢(shì)在必行。有鑒于此,本文試圖以生態(tài)翻譯學(xué)為理論視角,以無(wú)錫市三處名人故居內(nèi)旅游文獻(xiàn)的漢英翻譯為例,從翻譯活動(dòng)的具體過(guò)程,即“翻譯前、翻譯中和翻譯后”剖析譯者在生態(tài)翻譯環(huán)境作用下的適應(yīng)和選擇活動(dòng)。翻譯前,譯者了解并分析中英旅游文獻(xiàn)的異同和目標(biāo)讀者的心理預(yù)期,適應(yīng)特定的生態(tài)翻譯環(huán)境;翻譯中譯者在生態(tài)翻譯原則的指導(dǎo)下進(jìn)行多維適應(yīng)與轉(zhuǎn)換。除“語(yǔ)言維”、“文化維”和“交際維”外,本文試著引入“形象維”,即游客對(duì)旅游景點(diǎn)翻譯的印象是否符合政府與地方意欲通過(guò)翻譯而塑造的對(duì)外形象,從而進(jìn)一步考察旅游翻譯文獻(xiàn)的外宣...
