【摘要】：詞匯通常被定義為"所有被人熟知以及使用的單詞"。詞匯是溝通和獲取知識的最基本和實(shí)用的工具。掌握大量的詞匯是學(xué)習(xí)第二語言的最大挑戰(zhàn)之一。詞匯是英語教學(xué)的中心,因?yàn)闆]有足夠的詞匯,學(xué)生就無法理解他人或表達(dá)自身的想法。考慮到詞匯的重要性,本文以自建MCAIRs(海事碰撞事故調(diào)查報告語料庫)為基礎(chǔ),以MAIRs(海事調(diào)查報告語料庫)和MEE(輪機(jī)英語)語料庫作為參照語料庫,借助自然語言處理的有關(guān)方法對海事碰撞事故詞匯在詞匯密度、詞匯覆蓋率、詞匯重復(fù)率以及關(guān)鍵詞四方面特征進(jìn)行量化研究。具體研究問題包括:1.MCAIRs詞匯有何語言學(xué)特征?(1)與其它體裁的海事英語相比,MCAIRs的詞匯密度有何特征?(2)MCAIRs的詞匯覆蓋率有何特征?(3)如何描述MCAIRs的詞匯重復(fù)率特征?(4)MCAIRs的關(guān)鍵詞有何語言學(xué)特征?研究結(jié)果表明,詞匯密度并不僅僅像傳統(tǒng)研究中所述與文本長度呈負(fù)相關(guān)關(guān)系,而是同時被話題豐富度以及詞匯量所影響。詞匯覆蓋率方面,MAIR語料庫對于MCAIR語料庫的詞匯覆蓋率(0.1127)要低于MEE對其的詞匯覆蓋率(0.2263),由此表明,雖然MEE語料庫專業(yè)性低于MAIR語料庫,但詞匯數(shù)量和話題多樣性也影響著詞匯覆蓋率的變化。通過對三個語料庫詞匯覆蓋率的對比,提取海事碰撞事故報告的高頻關(guān)鍵詞匯,并制作了關(guān)鍵詞詞匯表,目的在于科學(xué)指導(dǎo)海事調(diào)查報告的閱讀及撰寫。
[Abstract]:Words are usually defined as "all well-known and used words". Vocabulary is the most basic and practical tool for communicating and acquiring knowledge. Mastering a large number of vocabulary is one of the biggest challenges to learning a second language. Vocabulary is the center of English teaching, because without enough vocabulary, students can not understand others or express their own ideas. Considering the importance of vocabulary, this paper is based on MCAIRs (Maritime collision investigation report Corpus) and MAIRs (Marine investigation report Corpus) and MEE (Marine Engineering English) Corpus as reference corpus. With the help of natural language processing, the lexical density, lexical coverage, lexical repetition rate and keyword characteristics of maritime collision accidents are quantitatively studied. The specific research questions include: what are the linguistic features of 1.MCAIRs vocabulary? (1) compared with other genres of maritime English, What are the characteristics of lexical density of MCAIRs? (2) what are the characteristics of lexical coverage of MCAIRs? (3) how to describe the lexical repetition rate of MCAIRs? (4) what are the linguistic features of the keywords of MCAIRs? The results show that lexical density is not only negatively correlated with text length, but also affected by topic richness and vocabulary size, as described in the traditional study. In terms of vocabulary coverage, the lexical coverage of the MAIR corpus for the MCAIR corpus (0.1127) is lower than that for the MEE corpus (0.2263), which indicates that although the professionalism of the MEE corpus is lower than that of the MAIR corpus, However, the number of words and the diversity of topics also affect the change of vocabulary coverage. Through the comparison of the vocabulary coverage of the three corpus, the high frequency key words of maritime collision accident report are extracted, and the keyword vocabulary is made, in order to scientifically guide the reading and writing of maritime investigation report.
