【摘要】：英語(yǔ)雖然是世界通用語(yǔ),但是標(biāo)準(zhǔn)英國(guó)英語(yǔ)和英語(yǔ)的區(qū)域性變體在口音方面存在著差異。英語(yǔ)區(qū)域性變體之間在口音方面也存在著差異。但是這種口音方面的差異是否會(huì)影響口譯質(zhì)量?口譯人員如何應(yīng)對(duì)口音方面的差異導(dǎo)致的口譯質(zhì)量的下降情況?本論文選取美國(guó)英語(yǔ)和巴基斯坦英語(yǔ)作為口譯語(yǔ)料,利用實(shí)證研究的方法,試圖研究口音與交替?zhèn)髯g質(zhì)量是否具有相關(guān)性且相關(guān)性有多大的問(wèn)題。前人雖然有對(duì)不同語(yǔ)言間口音與交替?zhèn)髯g質(zhì)量進(jìn)行過(guò)研究,但是迄今筆者還未見學(xué)者們對(duì)英語(yǔ)區(qū)域性變體之間在口音與交替?zhèn)髯g質(zhì)量相關(guān)性方面有過(guò)研究。從這個(gè)意義上講,本論文具有一定的新意。本文是一篇以吉爾的精力分配模式為理論基礎(chǔ),旨在研究口音與交替?zhèn)髯g質(zhì)量相關(guān)性的實(shí)驗(yàn)報(bào)告。筆者采用實(shí)證研究的方法,從準(zhǔn)確性、連貫性、信息完整性和流利度四個(gè)方面分析口音對(duì)口譯質(zhì)量的具體影響并在綜合考慮譯文質(zhì)量、實(shí)驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)及調(diào)查問(wèn)卷等因素的共同基礎(chǔ)上得出實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)論并提出一些對(duì)應(yīng)策略。實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明:口音與交替?zhèn)髯g質(zhì)量之間存在正相關(guān)性,且相關(guān)性較高,但各部分的相關(guān)性不盡相同,如口音與術(shù)語(yǔ)翻譯準(zhǔn)確性的相關(guān)性極高;口音與表達(dá)連貫性的相關(guān)性較高;口音與表達(dá)流利度的相關(guān)性一般;口音與信息完整度的相關(guān)性高。本實(shí)驗(yàn)報(bào)告具有一定的啟發(fā)意義,它可以有針對(duì)性的訓(xùn)練譯員對(duì)不同口音的聽辨分析與信息接收能力,從而提高譯員的口譯質(zhì)量。由于口音與口譯質(zhì)量各參數(shù)的相關(guān)性各不相同,譯員可以有針對(duì)性地采取相應(yīng)的策略來(lái)提高口譯質(zhì)量。
[Abstract]:Although English is a universal language, However, there are differences in accents between standard British English and regional variations of English. However, does the difference in accents affect the quality of interpretation? How can interpreters cope with the deterioration in interpretation quality caused by differences in accents? In this thesis, American English and Pakistan English are selected as the interpreting materials, and the empirical study is used. This paper attempts to study whether or not the accent and the quality of consecutive interpretation are relevant and how relevant. Although previous scholars have studied accent and quality of consecutive interpretation among different languages, However, so far, no scholars have studied the correlation between accents and consecutive interpretation quality among regional variants of English. In this sense, This paper is based on Gill's energy distribution model and aims to study the correlation between accent and consecutive interpretation quality. This paper analyzes the specific impact of accent on the quality of interpretation from four aspects of information integrity and fluency, and considers the quality of translation comprehensively. On the basis of common factors, such as experimental data and questionnaire, the author draws the conclusion of the experiment and puts forward some corresponding strategies. The experimental results show that there is a positive correlation between accent and consecutive interpretation quality, and there is a high correlation between accent and consecutive interpretation quality. However, the correlation between accent and terminology translation accuracy is very high, the correlation between accent and expression coherence is high, the correlation between accent and expression fluency is general, the correlation between accent and terminology translation accuracy is very high, and the correlation between accent and expression coherence is relatively high. The correlation between accent and information integrity is high. This report has some enlightening significance, and it can be used to train interpreters in listening analysis and information receiving ability of different accents. Because the correlation between accent and interpretation quality parameters is different, interpreters can adopt corresponding strategies to improve interpretation quality.
