以STEM教育創(chuàng)新引領(lǐng)教育未來——美國《STEM 2026:STEM教育創(chuàng)新愿景》報告的解讀與啟示

【摘要】:在21世紀復(fù)雜世界中維持競爭力,離不開科技創(chuàng)新和人才培養(yǎng)。美國政府深刻認識到了這一點,將STEM教育放在突出位置,先后發(fā)布了各類STEM教育相關(guān)政策,旨在讓所有學生獲得優(yōu)質(zhì)的STEM教育。2016年9月,美國研究所與美國教育部聯(lián)合發(fā)布了《STEM 2026:STEM教育創(chuàng)新愿景》(STEM 2026:A Vision for Innovation in STEM Education)。該報告旨在促進STEM教育公平以及讓所有學生都得到優(yōu)質(zhì)STEM教育的學習體驗,對實踐社區(qū)、活動設(shè)計、教育經(jīng)驗、學習空間、學習測量、社會文化環(huán)境等六大方面提出了愿景規(guī)劃,指出了STEM教育未來十年的發(fā)展方向以及存在的挑戰(zhàn),如,教育資源分配問題、缺乏早期教育研究等。為此,在梳理美國STEM教育歷史背景的基礎(chǔ)上,充分提煉了該報告中美國STEM教育的未來發(fā)展方向及其應(yīng)對挑戰(zhàn)策略,以期對我國STEM教育戰(zhàn)略有所啟示與借鑒。
[Abstract]:Maintaining competitiveness in the complex world of the 21 st century is inseparable from scientific and technological innovation and talent training. Well aware of this, the US government has put STEM education in a prominent position, and has successively issued various STEM education-related policies aimed at providing all students with quality STEM education. In September 2016, The Institute of American Studies and the United States Department of Education jointly published the STEM 2026:STEM Educational Innovation Vision, STEM2026: a Vision for Innovation in STEM Education. The report aims to promote equity in STEM education and the learning experience of quality STEM education for all students, measuring the community of practice, activity design, educational experience, learning space, and learning. This paper puts forward a vision plan from six aspects, such as social cultural environment, and points out the development direction and challenges of STEM education in the next ten years, such as the allocation of educational resources, the lack of early education research and so on. Therefore, on the basis of combing the historical background of American STEM education, this paper fully refines the future development direction of American STEM education in this report and the strategies to deal with the challenge, in order to enlighten and draw lessons from the STEM education strategy of our country.
