凌叔華與曼斯菲爾德短篇小說的比較研究

【摘要】:凌叔華是中國“五四”時期的女性作家之一,其客觀冷靜的心理寫實小說讓研究者想起了新西蘭籍的英國女作家凱瑟琳·曼斯菲爾德。曼斯菲爾德的創(chuàng)作稍早于凌叔華,無論是其人還是其文都存在許多的相似之處,,故有研究者認(rèn)為凌叔華是受到了曼斯菲爾德的影響,因此曾被徐志摩等人稱為“中國的曼殊斐兒”。此外兩位女作家都熱愛俄羅斯短篇小說家契訶夫,都和英國布魯姆斯伯里文化圈的代表人物伍爾夫有書信交往,也受到印象派畫法的影響,所以兩人不管是在選材上、思想內(nèi)涵上還是藝術(shù)特征方面都顯示出諸多相似點,但盡管如此,兩人的創(chuàng)作還是受到出生環(huán)境、時代背景和個性特點等因素的影響,從而使作品也呈現(xiàn)出很大的不同。筆者在前人研究的前提下,試圖通過徐志摩等作家對“凌叔華:中國的曼殊斐兒”這一命題的提出,結(jié)合凌叔華與曼斯菲爾德相同影響來源的分析、文本典型人物形象的塑造和藝術(shù)風(fēng)格的比較來找出存在于她們作品中的相同點和不同方面,從而指出她們作品中所表現(xiàn)出來的相似性主要來源于對她們有著深層吸引力的相同作家流派和藝術(shù)思潮,所以凌叔華和曼斯菲爾德之間是平行的比較關(guān)系,而不是凌氏對曼氏純粹的簡單模仿。 本論文共分為三章: 緒論部分主要包括本論文的選題意義和國內(nèi)對凌叔華與曼斯菲爾德作品的研究現(xiàn)狀的歸納及“中國的曼斯菲爾德”這一命題的提出。 第一章凌叔華與曼斯菲爾德短篇小說創(chuàng)作的同源影響。這一章分為三節(jié),分別是對俄國作家契訶夫小說風(fēng)格的學(xué)習(xí)、與弗吉尼亞·伍爾夫的交往和受法國印象派畫法的影響,從而為證明凌叔華和曼斯菲爾德創(chuàng)作中的諸多相似性的來源提供了可靠的依據(jù)。 第二章主要對凌叔華和曼斯菲爾德短篇小說的人物塑造進(jìn)行比較。這一章分為三節(jié)。前兩節(jié)分別選取作品中的典型女性形象和男性形象來分析作家女性主義思想的具體體現(xiàn)及她們在婦女解放道路上的艱難探索,第三節(jié)則是對兩位作家筆下的兒童形象進(jìn)行了比較分析。在具體文本研讀的過程中,更進(jìn)一步分析兩位作家在小說中的相似之處和個人特色。 第三章是凌叔華與曼斯菲爾德小說的意象敘事。此章主要分析了凌氏和曼氏 作品中豐富的象征性意象,從而比較出兩位作家作品藝術(shù)特色上的異同。 最后一部分是結(jié)語。通過以上對凌叔華和曼斯菲爾德作品人物形象的研讀和藝術(shù)形式上的分析,從而肯定了徐志摩等作家提出的“凌叔華:中國的曼斯菲爾德”這一稱號,諸多相似點的出現(xiàn)正是源于她們所接觸的相同作家流派等,但由于個性氣質(zhì)、家庭環(huán)境和文化傳統(tǒng)等因素,兩位作家的不同之處也是很明顯的,所以凌叔華與曼斯菲爾德之間是橫向的平行比較關(guān)系,而并非是凌叔華對曼斯菲爾德的簡單模仿。
[Abstract]:Ling Shuhua is one of the female writers in the May 4th period in China. Her objective and calm psychological realistic novels remind researchers of Catherine Mansfield, a British female writer of New Zealand origin. Mansfield's creation was earlier than Ling Shuhua's, and there were many similarities in his works, so some researchers believe Ling Shuhua was influenced by Mansfield. Therefore, Xu Zhimo and others have known as "China's Manshufei." In addition, both women writers love Chekhov, the Russian short story writer, and both have correspondence with Woolf, the representative figure of British Bloomsbury cultural circle, and are also influenced by the impressionist style of painting. In terms of ideological connotation and artistic characteristics, there are many similarities, but in spite of this, the creation of the two people is still influenced by the birth environment, the background of the times and the characteristics of their individuality, so that the works are also very different. On the premise of previous studies, the author tries to put forward the proposition of "Ling Shuhua: China's Manshufei" through Xu Zhimo and other writers, combining with the analysis of Ling Shuhua and Mansfield's same sources of influence. To find out the similarities and differences existing in their works by the creation of typical characters and the comparison of their artistic styles. It is pointed out that the similarities in their works mainly come from the same writers' schools and artistic trends which have deep attraction to them, so Ling Shuhua and Mansfield have a parallel comparative relationship. Instead of Ling's pure imitation of Mann. This thesis is divided into three chapters: the introduction part mainly includes the significance of this thesis, the domestic summary of Ling Shuhua and Mansfield's works and the proposition of "Mansfield of China". Chapter one: the homologous influence of Ling Shuhua and Mansfield's short story creation. This chapter is divided into three sections: the study of the style of the Russian writer Chekhov, the communication with Virginia Woolf and the influence of the French impressionist painting. It provides a reliable basis for proving the source of many similarities between Ling Shuhua and Mansfield. The second chapter compares the characters of Ling Shuhua and Mansfield short stories. This chapter is divided into three sections. The first two sections choose the typical female images and the male images in the works to analyze the concrete embodiment of the writer's feminist thought and their difficult exploration on the road of women's liberation. The third section is a comparative analysis of the images of children in the works of the two writers. In the process of reading the specific texts, the similarities and personal characteristics of the two writers in the novel are further analyzed. The third chapter is the image narration of Ling Shuhua and Mansfield's novels. This chapter mainly analyzes the rich symbolic images in Ling's and Man's works, and then compares the similarities and differences between the artistic features of the two writers' works. The last part is the conclusion. Through the study of the characters of Ling Shuhua and Mansfield and the analysis of their artistic forms, the title "Ling Shuhua: Mansfield of China" proposed by Xu Zhimo and other writers has been affirmed. Many similarities arise from the same genre of writers they come into contact with, but the differences between the two writers are also evident due to factors such as personality, family environment and cultural traditions. So there is a horizontal parallel comparison between Ling Shuhua and Mansfield, not Ling Shuhua's simple imitation of Mansfield.
