帶“眼睛”習(xí)語的認(rèn)知語義研究

習(xí)語在語言中占有很大的比重,并且起著重要的作用。源自歷史、文化和人類的體驗的習(xí)語幾乎無處不在。國內(nèi)和國外的語言學(xué)家對習(xí)語的研究由來已久。傳統(tǒng)的語言學(xué)研究認(rèn)為,習(xí)語像詞匯一樣是約定俗成的語言表達方式,有其獨特的修辭功能、語用功能和獨立于概念體系的特定語義。對習(xí)語的傳統(tǒng)研究為習(xí)語的研究奠定了堅實的基礎(chǔ),但是在對習(xí)語的深入研究中傳統(tǒng)研究存在一定的局限性。隨著認(rèn)知語言學(xué)的發(fā)展,對習(xí)語的研究發(fā)生了認(rèn)知轉(zhuǎn)向,許多語言學(xué)家開始用認(rèn)知語言學(xué)的理論研究習(xí)語,他們認(rèn)為習(xí)語的意義并非任意的,而是有理據(jù)的、可分析的。通過運用認(rèn)知語言學(xué)理論對習(xí)語的分析,有利于人們理解成語的構(gòu)造及其意義。本文將英語和漢語中帶“眼睛”的習(xí)語作為一個案例,嘗試用認(rèn)知語言學(xué)的理論中的隱喻、轉(zhuǎn)喻、隱轉(zhuǎn)喻以及人們的日常經(jīng)驗四個方面進行全面地分析。文中涉及的英語習(xí)語主要是固定詞組,不包含俚語和諺語。涉及的漢語習(xí)語主要是四字成語。通過認(rèn)知語言學(xué)對眼睛習(xí)語意義構(gòu)造的分析為其他與身體部位相關(guān)習(xí)語的研究提供一個新的思路。研究表明,帶“眼睛”習(xí)語的意義建構(gòu)不是任意的,而是建立在認(rèn)知語義機制上的。分析的結(jié)果顯示,在眼睛習(xí)語語義建構(gòu)中,轉(zhuǎn)喻起著比隱喻更為重...
