功能對(duì)等理論指導(dǎo)下的小說(shuō)《匆匆那年》翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告

  文學(xué)翻譯在翻譯中舉足輕重,而小說(shuō)翻譯在文學(xué)翻譯中也占有一席之地。筆者選譯了青年作家九夜茴的代表作品之一《匆匆那年》。該書(shū)語(yǔ)言幽默詼諧,人物角色個(gè)性鮮明,讓人仿佛跟著故事中的女主角方茴一起再次回到了 90年代末的北京,在時(shí)間跨度長(zhǎng)達(dá)十年的敘述中向讀者展現(xiàn)80后北京青年們獨(dú)特的青春回憶。本報(bào)告的理論基礎(chǔ)是奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論。該理論著重關(guān)注譯文的效果以及譯文讀者的反應(yīng),要求譯者要準(zhǔn)確傳達(dá)原文的意義,必要時(shí)不必拘泥于原文的語(yǔ)言形式。這一理論的目的即盡可能地使譯文讀者能夠得到與原文讀者相同的閱讀感受。本文是一份漢譯英翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告。翻譯項(xiàng)目選自《匆匆那年》的第一章的全部和第二章的前兩節(jié)。本報(bào)告以奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論為基礎(chǔ),根據(jù)翻譯中所遇見(jiàn)的問(wèn)題,結(jié)合相應(yīng)的翻譯策略和翻譯技巧,如直譯和意譯,增譯法、省略法、語(yǔ)態(tài)轉(zhuǎn)移法等,并從詞匯、句法和修辭三個(gè)層面來(lái)展開(kāi)具體的案例分析,最終完成了本翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告。通過(guò)案例分析,筆者發(fā)現(xiàn)在功能對(duì)等理論指導(dǎo)下的小說(shuō)翻譯,要求譯者不僅要忠實(shí)準(zhǔn)確地傳遞原作的思想內(nèi)容,還要從詞匯、句法及修辭等語(yǔ)言特征入手,展開(kāi)具體的分析,從而使譯文讀者能夠像原文讀者一樣理解和欣賞原作。在詞匯層面...
