【摘要】：詹姆斯·喬伊斯(1882-1941)是二十世紀初愛爾蘭最杰出的現(xiàn)代主義作家之一,他的作品以都柏林為中心,展現(xiàn)了十九世紀末二十世紀初愛爾蘭的空間圖景�！肚嗄晁囆g(shù)家的肖像》是喬伊斯的第一部長篇小說,以藝術(shù)家的自我流亡為主題,講述了主人公斯蒂芬在家庭、宗教、社會環(huán)境的束縛下逐步確立藝術(shù)家身份的艱難成長過程,具有較強的空間性,與空間批評視角下的社會空間、景觀空間及個體空間的闡釋相吻合。本文從空間批評角度出發(fā),以斯蒂芬的自我流亡為研究對象,探究斯蒂芬選擇自我流亡作為實現(xiàn)藝術(shù)追求的唯一出路的原因。本論文由引言、正文和結(jié)論三部分組成。引言部分簡述喬伊斯的生平及其文學創(chuàng)作,綜論國內(nèi)外對《肖像》的研究現(xiàn)狀。正文部分包括四章,第一章簡述空間理論發(fā)展的四個階段。第二章論述造成斯蒂芬自我流亡的根源,即社會空間的壓抑,包括社會關系的疏離、社會權(quán)力的壓制及宗教信仰的喪失。第三章從自然景觀及城市景觀的隱喻意義切入,探究促成斯蒂芬自我流亡的景觀空間,景觀空間是斯蒂芬自我流亡的催化劑。第四章探討斯蒂芬個體空間的轉(zhuǎn)變過程,個體空間的轉(zhuǎn)變是導致斯蒂芬自我流亡的前提。結(jié)論部分指出,空間對于個體的人生選擇具有重要意義,斯蒂芬的自我流亡是社會空間、景觀空間及個體空間共同作用的結(jié)果�？臻g批評對于現(xiàn)代社會下的個體身份建構(gòu)具有重要作用,運用空間批評解析《青年藝術(shù)家的肖像》,不僅為作品研究提供了新的視角,而且對于個體在現(xiàn)代社會空間下的自我定位具有一定的借鑒意義。
[Abstract]:James Joyce (1882-1941) is one of the most prominent modernist writers in Ireland in the early twentieth century. "Portrait of Young artists" is Joyce's first novel, with the theme of artist's self-exile, about Stephen in his family and religion. The difficult growing process of gradually establishing the artist's identity under the restraint of social environment has a strong spatial character, which coincides with the interpretation of social space, landscape space and individual space from the perspective of space criticism. From the angle of space criticism, this paper takes Stephen's self-exile as the research object, and explores the reason why Stephen chooses self-exile as the only way to realize the pursuit of art. This thesis consists of three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. In the foreword part, the author briefly introduces Joyce's life and literary creation, and summarizes the research status of Portrait at home and abroad. The first chapter briefly describes the four stages of the development of space theory. The second chapter discusses the causes of Stephen's self-exile, namely, the suppression of social space, including the alienation of social relations, the suppression of social power and the loss of religious beliefs. From the metaphorical meaning of natural landscape and urban landscape, the third chapter explores the landscape space which promotes Stephen's self-exile, which is the catalyst of Stephen's self-exile. Chapter four discusses the transformation process of Stephen's individual space, which is the premise of Stephen's self-exile. The conclusion points out that space plays an important role in the individual's choice of life, and Stephen's self-exile is the result of the interaction of social space, landscape space and individual space. Space criticism plays an important role in the construction of individual identity in modern society. The use of space criticism to analyze Portrait of Young artists not only provides a new perspective for the study of works. And for individuals in the modern social space of self-positioning has a certain reference significance.
