過度社交網(wǎng)站使用和平庸的學習成績:技術前因,后果以及影響

社交網(wǎng)站(社交網(wǎng)站)是基于網(wǎng)絡的服務,它允許個人(1)在有界系統(tǒng)內(nèi)構建公開或半公開的個人信息,(2)與好友列表里的朋友保持聯(lián)系,以及3)查看和遍歷系統(tǒng)中其他人所建立的連接列表。一些社交網(wǎng)站比如Facebook和Twitter已經(jīng)成為互聯(lián)網(wǎng)上流行的手機社交應用,這些網(wǎng)站現(xiàn)在成為世界上最流行的社交網(wǎng)站。社交網(wǎng)站提供商已經(jīng)引入了移動應用程序,移動無線設備提供的無處不在的訪問導致社交網(wǎng)絡通過移動應用程序的使用迅速增加。便攜式設備的使用激增意味著個人越來越自由和靈活地隨時隨地參與社交網(wǎng)站。雖然這些設備具有很多積極的功能,但它們也會帶來負面的影響,例如過度參與移動社交網(wǎng)站。過度使用基于手機的社交網(wǎng)站可能會導致強迫性行為的出現(xiàn),從而導致壓力,消極的社會和工作影響。而且,大量的研究表明社交網(wǎng)站的使用是個人壓力的來源。但是,社交網(wǎng)站如何,怎樣創(chuàng)造壓力并不十分清楚。以前從教育角度對社交網(wǎng)站進行的研究主要是描述性的,側重于社交網(wǎng)站的采用和繼續(xù)使用的動機,但如果不考慮關于在教育信息系統(tǒng)研究中其產(chǎn)生的負面結果的事實,研究一些便不夠完整了,F(xiàn)有研究對這些網(wǎng)站的不利后果及其對用戶學習成績的影響非常的少見。我們基于文獻管理信息系統(tǒng),心理學,教育和職業(yè)壓力等因素,構建了一個模型來研究過度使用移動社交網(wǎng)站對學習成績產(chǎn)生負面影響的機制。我們的研究試圖通過研究大學本科學生中社交網(wǎng)站的使用來部分解決文獻中的空缺,特別是基于這些類型的網(wǎng)站使用成為問題或成癮的背景。我們研究的目的是通過調(diào)查分析出一些可能會產(chǎn)生過度使用因素,包括社交,社會比較,享受,信息搜尋和自我呈現(xiàn),來確定移動社交網(wǎng)站的問題可能會如何發(fā)展。應力交易模型(TMS)用于將技術特征理論化為應激源(即過度使用)的先兆。應力-應變-結果(SSO)被用作模型的基礎,其代表過度使用(壓力源),生活入侵,技術枯竭和認知分心(應變)和學業(yè)成績(后果)。利用自我調(diào)節(jié)理論和雙系統(tǒng)理論等輔助理論對所提出的模型進行了進一步細化,并分別考察了睡眠質(zhì)量差和認知行為控制的調(diào)節(jié)作用。我們用設計調(diào)查問卷的方法來測試所提出的研究模型。該研究收集了來自普通移動社交網(wǎng)站應用用戶的505個問卷,其中包括Facebook,Twitter和WhatsApp等眾所周知的社交網(wǎng)站應用的用戶。基于協(xié)方差的SEM技術被用于通過建立測量模型和結構模型的估計的兩步過程來估計研究模型。數(shù)據(jù)分析表明,技術特征導致過度使用移動社交網(wǎng)站,這會導致生命入侵等負面后果;技術枯竭和學生認知分散,從而降低了社交網(wǎng)站用戶的學習成績。使用社交網(wǎng)站的認知行為控制弱化了這種關系以克服負面結果,而差的睡眠質(zhì)量則加強了壓力源和應變層面之間的關系這項研究提供了重要的理論和實踐意義。之前大多數(shù)關于有問題的社交網(wǎng)站使用的研究僅將成癮或有問題的使用作為包括多種癥狀的綜合病理學概念來解決。它們的重點是澄清這些概念并為診斷目的開發(fā)測量模型。而我們的研究采用了一種基于機理的方法,并且是首先通過調(diào)查其負面后果來檢查有問題的社交網(wǎng)站應用程序的使用。這項研究整合了不同的理論視角,提供了一個新的經(jīng)驗驗證模型,可以指導未來的研究。這些結果為家長,員工,教師,社交網(wǎng)站提供商和用戶提供了有關過度使用社交網(wǎng)站應用程序的潛在不良后果的信息。這項研究也有助于研究信息系統(tǒng)的不良影響。
