歌者傳奇—論嚴歌苓小說中的傳奇敘事

【摘要】:嚴歌苓是目前北美華文文壇最具實力與影響力的作家之一,從1997年開始步入國內(nèi)學(xué)界的視野至今獲得了持續(xù)升溫的關(guān)注和高度的贊譽。早年的閱讀經(jīng)驗與傳奇的人生經(jīng)歷塑造了嚴歌苓“傳奇”的創(chuàng)作理念與審美追求!皞髌妗眹栏柢咭云洹案Q探人性之深,文字歷練之成熟”在繽彩紛呈的中國當(dāng)代文壇創(chuàng)造了一個“傳奇的國界”。本文主要運用傳記研究、文獻研究、文化研究、敘事學(xué)研究等方法,以中國文學(xué)傳統(tǒng)敘事模式之一——“傳奇敘事”為切入點,力圖對嚴歌苓的小說創(chuàng)作進行一個整體性的把握;從作家的敘事方式這一文學(xué)的根本層面探究嚴歌苓作為旅居他國的海外華文作家對中國文學(xué)傳統(tǒng)的承襲與創(chuàng)造性轉(zhuǎn)化;闡釋嚴歌苓小說因中西方文學(xué)兩種不同特質(zhì)的相互交融所綻放出的獨特魅力;并希望從作家的人生經(jīng)歷中得到些許啟示從而進一步探究嚴歌苓傳奇敘事的心理及文化根源。全文共分五個部分展開論述:導(dǎo)言部分在簡要梳理“傳奇”一詞由專有名稱到敘事模式的發(fā)展歷程的前提下,將嚴歌苓納入傳奇敘事的視野當(dāng)中,從作家的人生經(jīng)歷與創(chuàng)作理念兩方面出發(fā)探尋嚴歌苓形成傳奇敘事追求的原因。正文由三部分組成:第一章以創(chuàng)作題材為劃分標(biāo)準,論述嚴歌苓小說的三大傳奇類型,即軍旅傳奇、海外傳奇、歷史傳奇;第二章從神性“地母”系列人物、曲折離奇的故事情節(jié)與“翻手為蒼涼,覆手為繁華”的文學(xué)語言三個維度總結(jié)嚴歌苓小說契合于大眾閱讀與消費傾向的傳奇因素;第三章主要運用敘事學(xué)理論,通過傳奇化的情節(jié)與寫實的細節(jié)、敘事人稱與視角、敘事時間與空間三方面論證嚴歌苓融傳統(tǒng)與現(xiàn)代為一體的獨特傳奇筆法,以及由這筆法書寫出的現(xiàn)代“新傳奇”;結(jié)語部分對全文進行總結(jié)的同時分析嚴歌苓小說的傳奇敘事在海外華文文學(xué)中所具有的獨特性,并以辯證的眼光指出其中存在的幾點不足。
[Abstract]:Yan Geling is one of the most powerful and influential writers in North American Chinese literature. Early reading experience and legendary life experience shape Yan Geling's creation idea and aesthetic pursuit of Legend. Yan Geling created a "legendary national boundary" in the contemporary Chinese literary world with his "exploring the depth of human nature and the maturity of writing experience" in the contemporary Chinese literary world. This paper mainly uses the methods of biographical research, literature research, cultural research, narratology research and so on, taking "legendary narration", one of the traditional narrative modes of Chinese literature, as the breakthrough point. Trying to make a holistic grasp of Yan Geling's novel creation; This paper explores Yan Geling's inheritance and creative transformation of Chinese literary tradition as an overseas Chinese writer living in other countries from the writer's narrative way, which is the fundamental aspect of literature. This paper explains the unique charm of Yan Geling's novels because of the blend of two different characteristics of Chinese and western literature, and hopes to get some enlightenment from the writer's life experience so as to further explore the psychological and cultural root of Yan Geling's legendary narration. The full text is divided into five parts: in the introduction part, under the premise of briefly combing the development of the word "legend" from the exclusive name to the narrative mode, Yan Geling is included in the vision of the legendary narrative. This paper explores the reasons for Yan Geling's legendary narrative pursuit from two aspects of the writer's life experience and creative idea. The text is composed of three parts: the first chapter discusses the three legendary types of Yan Geling's novels, that is, military legend, overseas legend and historical legend. The second chapter sums up the legendary factors of Yan Geling's novels fit in with the popular reading and consumption tendency from the three dimensions of the series characters of the Divine "Land Mother", the twists and turns of the story plot and the literary language of "turning the hands for desolation, and the overhand being the prosperity". The third chapter mainly uses the narratology theory, through the legendary plot and the realistic detail, the narration person and the angle of view, the narrative time and the space three aspects demonstrates Yan Geling to melt the tradition and the modern as one unique legendary writing method. And the modern "new legend" written by this method; The conclusion part summarizes the full text and analyzes the uniqueness of the legendary narration of Yan Geling's novels in overseas Chinese literature, and points out some shortcomings in it from a dialectical perspective.
