The Evaluative Functions of Evidentiality

作為一種非常普遍的語(yǔ)言現(xiàn)象,言據(jù)性已經(jīng)引起了全世界語(yǔ)言學(xué)者的關(guān)注。它已經(jīng)成為近些年來(lái)語(yǔ)言學(xué)界研究的熱門話題。由澳大利亞悉尼大學(xué)語(yǔ)言學(xué)院的語(yǔ)言學(xué)家于1990年建立的評(píng)價(jià)系統(tǒng)也受到了廣泛關(guān)注。本文力求將言據(jù)性和評(píng)價(jià)理論建構(gòu)在一起,探索言據(jù)性在評(píng)價(jià)系統(tǒng)(包括其三個(gè)子系統(tǒng):態(tài)度,介入和分級(jí)系統(tǒng))中,如何產(chǎn)生作用。我們?cè)谥袊?guó)知網(wǎng)上隨機(jī)選取二十篇各個(gè)方向的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言學(xué)碩士論文作為本文的研究素材,來(lái)探討言據(jù)性在學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)篇中的評(píng)價(jià)功能。 我們發(fā)現(xiàn):不同形式的言據(jù)符號(hào)在建構(gòu)態(tài)度,介入和分級(jí)系統(tǒng)時(shí)都有評(píng)價(jià)功能。在評(píng)價(jià)理論的各個(gè)范疇里,言據(jù)性都與可能性或可能性的程度有關(guān),在學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)篇中體現(xiàn)了作者不同的觀點(diǎn),立場(chǎng)和態(tài)度。 本文共分六章。第一章首先介紹了研究背景和提出待解決的問(wèn)題。之后我們給出了研究方法以及語(yǔ)料的采集。第一章的最后,詳細(xì)給出了本文的結(jié)構(gòu)。第二章回顧前人在言據(jù)性方面的研究,包括它的定義和分類。同時(shí),我們對(duì)廣義的“評(píng)價(jià)”尤其是在學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)篇上的研究也在這一章進(jìn)行了簡(jiǎn)要回顧。在第三章中,基于馬丁的評(píng)價(jià)理論的理論框架,我們提出了本文的理論框架。第四章和第五章是本文的主體,言據(jù)性在建構(gòu)介入系統(tǒng)時(shí)體現(xiàn)出...
