生態(tài)批評(píng)視閾下莎士比亞的《暴風(fēng)雨》

生態(tài)批評(píng)在人類面臨環(huán)境惡化和生態(tài)危機(jī)的語境中應(yīng)運(yùn)而生。作為一種文學(xué)和文化批評(píng),生態(tài)批評(píng)從深層生態(tài)學(xué)獲得哲學(xué)基礎(chǔ),從社會(huì)生態(tài)學(xué)獲得科學(xué)支撐,在人與自然關(guān)系這一主題的文學(xué)研究實(shí)踐中,尋求消除人類中心主義、建構(gòu)以天人合一為基礎(chǔ)的新的人文主義精神。作為一部具有生態(tài)意識(shí)的文本,《暴風(fēng)雨》中蘊(yùn)含著莎士比亞對(duì)人與自然關(guān)系的探索,反映著人類自啟蒙運(yùn)動(dòng)來所缺失的人與自然和諧相處的思考方式。 論文由引言、正文和結(jié)論三部分組成。引言部分包括:一、從歷時(shí)的角度介紹文學(xué)批評(píng)上對(duì)《暴風(fēng)雨》的研究狀況;二、對(duì)生態(tài)批評(píng)進(jìn)行全景白描式的介紹,涵蓋其歷史淵源、其與該亞假說(Gaia Hypothesis)的原型指涉以及其與深層生態(tài)學(xué)(Deep Ecology)的哲學(xué)關(guān)聯(lián);三、闡述《暴風(fēng)雨》與生態(tài)批評(píng)在理論與實(shí)踐上的內(nèi)在聯(lián)系。正文第一章論證了《暴風(fēng)雨》中的孤島像該亞假說中的雛菊世界(Daisyworld)一樣,通過自我調(diào)節(jié)(self-regulation)維持著良好的生態(tài)平衡。然而,以普洛斯彼羅為代表的人類在島上的一系列砍伐樹木、恃強(qiáng)凌弱等行為破壞了島上原有的和諧并最終引發(fā)了生態(tài)危機(jī)。第二章集中探究了島上生態(tài)危機(jī)產(chǎn)生的...
