　　杰克·倫敦(1876-1916)在世界文壇享有很高的聲譽(yù)。他的很多作品在國(guó)內(nèi)外都廣受歡迎。在我國(guó)，許多讀者對(duì)倫敦的作品尤其是兩部動(dòng)物小說(shuō)《野性的呼喚》和《白牙》都很熟悉。到目前為止，我國(guó)對(duì)于倫敦這兩部動(dòng)物小說(shuō)的研究大多是對(duì)其內(nèi)容、主題及寫(xiě)作方法的介紹和評(píng)議。也有一部分批評(píng)家從自然主義的角度來(lái)解讀這兩部動(dòng)物小說(shuō)，分別闡述環(huán)境和遺傳對(duì)動(dòng)物的影響。然而筆者認(rèn)為，在生態(tài)批評(píng)的背景下研讀這兩部動(dòng)物小說(shuō)，可以發(fā)現(xiàn)作品蘊(yùn)涵了豐富的生態(tài)思想。 生態(tài)批評(píng)是隨著環(huán)境的惡化而產(chǎn)生的。生態(tài)批評(píng)的主要任務(wù)就是探討人與自然的關(guān)系，特別關(guān)注人類發(fā)展對(duì)環(huán)境的負(fù)面影響。人類的發(fā)展導(dǎo)致環(huán)境惡化和生態(tài)危機(jī)。生態(tài)批評(píng)最現(xiàn)實(shí)的意義是在反思與批判中喚醒人們的生態(tài)意識(shí)。所以，從生態(tài)批評(píng)的視角對(duì)杰克·倫敦的動(dòng)物小說(shuō)進(jìn)行重新闡釋既有理論意義，又有現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。筆者將通過(guò)文本細(xì)讀對(duì)倫敦的這兩部動(dòng)物小說(shuō)進(jìn)行生態(tài)主義解讀以展示作家的生態(tài)意識(shí)。 本文由四章組成。第一章主要介紹倫敦這兩部動(dòng)物小說(shuō)的研究現(xiàn)狀和本文的創(chuàng)新研究。第二章闡述生態(tài)批評(píng)的興起、特點(diǎn)及其理論原則——反人類中心主義、深層生態(tài)學(xué)和生態(tài)整體主義。第三章分析生態(tài)批評(píng)的理論原則在這兩部小說(shuō)...
