目的論視角下朱虹的女性主義翻譯策略研究 ——以《嬉雪》和《恬靜的白色》為例

女性主義翻譯于20世紀(jì)80年代初興起于加拿大,旨在通過翻譯研究與翻譯實(shí)踐來抵制語言中的性別歧視,重構(gòu)女性話語,同時(shí)強(qiáng)調(diào)譯者主體性。目的論是德國功能翻譯學(xué)派的核心理論,主張翻譯是一種有目的性的人類行為,翻譯的目的決定了翻譯的過程與最終效果,能夠從理論及實(shí)踐層面解釋女性主義翻譯。朱虹是我國第一代女性主義文學(xué)批評家,并致力于向英語世界翻譯我國當(dāng)代女性文學(xué),代表譯作有《嬉雪》和《恬靜的白色》。這兩本譯作編譯了我國當(dāng)代25位女作家的54篇作品,其中有22篇由朱虹翻譯。在此背景之下,本研究參考女性主義翻譯、目的論及朱虹翻譯研究相關(guān)文獻(xiàn),以《嬉雪》與《恬靜的白色》為例,嘗試從目的論視角研究朱虹的女性主義翻譯策略。本研究有兩個研究目的:(1)討論朱虹使用了哪些女性主義翻譯策略以及她常用的是哪一種;(2)從目的論視角分析她所使用的女性主義翻譯策略。本研究首先對《嬉雪》和《恬靜的白色》中朱虹使用的女性主義翻譯策略進(jìn)行識別與分類,統(tǒng)計(jì)每種策略的使用頻率。經(jīng)發(fā)現(xiàn),朱虹使用的女性主義翻譯策略有增補(bǔ)、更改、省略、釋義與劫持,其中常用的是增補(bǔ)與更改。隨后,本研究從目的論視角分析了朱虹的女性主義翻譯策略。從目的原則來看...
