翁顯良漢詩英譯思想中的中國詩學元素研究

翁顯良(1924-1983)是我國翻譯界最有影響同時最獨特的翻譯家之一。他采用散文譯詩,獨具一格,引發(fā)了數(shù)十年的形式之爭。他的譯詩主張和《意態(tài)由來畫不成?—文學翻譯叢談》在中國翻譯界產(chǎn)生了重要的影響,為中國文學翻譯理論建設(shè)做出了重要貢獻。前人對翁顯良的研究十分有限,且多聚焦于翁顯良散體譯詩的效果和某些翻譯技巧的探討。然而對翁顯良漢詩英譯思想及其成因這一課題的研究卻缺乏該有的關(guān)注。有些研究僅僅將翁氏的翻譯改寫歸結(jié)為其自身翻譯思想在起作用,對于翁氏翻譯思想形成的原因卻閉口不談。這些不足導致人們無法認識到翁氏散文譯詩的真正原因及價值,更無法充分體會其翻譯思想的魅力。本文旨在研究中國詩學元素在翁顯良漢詩英譯思想形成中產(chǎn)生的影響并揭示其思想對當代漢詩英譯的意義。為達到該目的,需解決以下三個研究問題:(1)翁氏的理論著述中包含哪些中國詩學元素?(2)這些詩學元素是如何在翁氏的翻譯實踐中得到具體體現(xiàn)的?(3)翁氏翻譯思想對詩歌翻譯理論和當代漢詩英譯有何意義?本文主要采用文獻分析、文本分析和統(tǒng)計分析法解決以上問題。作者首先搜集翁氏論述詩歌翻譯的材料,對其細讀和分析,歸納出其中包含的中國詩學元素,然后結(jié)合...
