文化唯物主義的文學(xué)思想研究

【摘要】：文化唯物主義是二十世紀(jì)七十年代末八十年代初在英國(guó)興起的一支文學(xué)批評(píng)流派,至今仍產(chǎn)生著重要的影響。該詞最初由雷蒙·威廉斯在其著作《馬克思主義與文學(xué)》中提出,倡導(dǎo)為一種“歷史唯物主義之內(nèi)關(guān)于物質(zhì)和文化生產(chǎn)的特殊性理論”。雷蒙·威廉斯對(duì)文化的重新定義和劃分為文化唯物主義文學(xué)批評(píng)奠定了理論基礎(chǔ),構(gòu)建了將物質(zhì)生產(chǎn)和意識(shí)形態(tài)相結(jié)合的文學(xué)研究方法。八十年代以來(lái),以多利莫爾、辛菲爾德、布朗等為代表的文化唯物主義文學(xué)批評(píng)家以文藝復(fù)興時(shí)期文學(xué),尤其是莎士比亞為研究對(duì)象,在繼承雷蒙·威廉斯文學(xué)批評(píng)的基礎(chǔ)上,同時(shí)吸收阿爾都塞、�？碌壤碚摷业乃枷�,通過(guò)一系列的專著和論文闡釋了文化唯物主義的文學(xué)觀念。他們重視文學(xué)與歷史、政治、社會(huì)之間的互動(dòng)關(guān)系,關(guān)注文學(xué)生產(chǎn)的物質(zhì)條件和文學(xué)對(duì)意識(shí)形態(tài)的塑造作用,將文學(xué)放置在整個(gè)歷史社會(huì)語(yǔ)境中進(jìn)行考察,注重文學(xué)在社會(huì)機(jī)制中的運(yùn)行狀況和產(chǎn)生的政治“效果”。文化唯物主義側(cè)重研究文學(xué)的政治功能,往往從文本中揭示出顛覆主導(dǎo)意識(shí)形態(tài)的力量�！熬攀甏院�,除了繼續(xù)重視文藝復(fù)興時(shí)期文學(xué)外,同性戀和后殖民問(wèn)題也開(kāi)始被納入視野”。尤其是同性戀問(wèn)題更是得到了文化唯物主義文學(xué)批評(píng)家的關(guān)注。 本文包括導(dǎo)論、文化唯物主義概況、文化唯物主義的文學(xué)思想、文化唯物主義的物質(zhì)性詩(shī)學(xué)、結(jié)語(yǔ)等五個(gè)部分。第一部分導(dǎo)論介紹了文化唯物主義文學(xué)思想的研究現(xiàn)狀,論文的創(chuàng)新之處及研究的必要性、重要性和可能性。第二部分是論文的主體部分,也是核心部分。該部分首先介紹了文化唯物主義的概況,然后從文化唯物主義的文學(xué)研究方法、作者觀、接受觀、文學(xué)批評(píng)實(shí)踐等四個(gè)方面展開(kāi)闡述文化唯物主義的文學(xué)觀念。通過(guò)與新批評(píng)、傳統(tǒng)馬克思主義文論之間的對(duì)比,以及具體的舉例說(shuō)明,剖析了文化唯物主義文學(xué)思想的獨(dú)特之處。文化唯物主義的物質(zhì)性特征可以看作是本論文的探索性內(nèi)容,闡釋了文化唯物主義文學(xué)思想的物質(zhì)性特征。 透過(guò)文化唯物主義的文學(xué)思想,我們可以看到當(dāng)代西方文學(xué)研究的新趨勢(shì),對(duì)我們?nèi)嬲J(rèn)識(shí)和研究馬克思主義文論具有重要的意義。
[Abstract]:Cultural materialism is a school of literary criticism rising in England in the late seventies of the 20th century and the beginning of 1980s, and it still has an important influence. The term, originally proposed by Raymond Williams in his book Marxism and Literature, advocates a "specific theory of material and cultural production within historical materialism". The re-definition and division of culture by Raymond Williams laid a theoretical foundation for literary criticism of cultural materialism and constructed a literary research method combining material production with ideology. Since the 1980s, literary critics of cultural materialism, represented by Dorimor, Sinfield and Brown, have studied Renaissance literature, especially Shakespeare, on the basis of inheriting Raymond Williams' literary criticism. At the same time, it absorbs the ideas of Althusser and Foucault and explains the literary concept of cultural materialism through a series of monographs and papers. They attach importance to the interactive relationship between literature and history, politics and society, pay attention to the material conditions of literary production and the role of literature in shaping ideology, and place literature in the context of the whole history and society. Pay attention to the operation of literature in the social mechanism and produce the political "effect". Cultural materialism focuses on the political function of literature and often reveals the power of subverting the dominant ideology from the text. Beyond the 1990s, besides continuing to attach importance to Renaissance literature, homosexuality and post-colonial issues began to be brought into perspective. In particular, the issue of homosexuality has been paid more attention to by literary critics of cultural materialism. This paper includes five parts: introduction, general situation of cultural materialism, literary thought of cultural materialism, material poetics of cultural materialism and conclusion. The first part introduces the current research situation of cultural materialism literary thought, the innovation of the thesis and the necessity, importance and possibility of the research. The second part is the main part of the paper, but also the core part. This part first introduces the general situation of cultural materialism, and then expounds the literary concept of cultural materialism from four aspects: the literary research method of cultural materialism, the author's view, the acceptance view, and the literary criticism practice. By comparing with new criticism, traditional Marxist literary theory and concrete examples, this paper analyzes the unique features of cultural materialism literary thought. The material characteristics of cultural materialism can be regarded as the exploratory content of this thesis, which explains the material characteristics of cultural materialism literary thought. Through the literary thought of cultural materialism, we can see the new trend of contemporary western literature research, which is of great significance for us to understand and study Marxist literary theory in an all-round way.
