　　由于1997年亞洲經(jīng)濟(jì)危機(jī)及泰國(guó)國(guó)內(nèi)勞動(dòng)力市場(chǎng)惡化,泰國(guó)政府于1998至2000年實(shí)施《國(guó)際勞工流動(dòng)限制政策》。在這一政策下,來(lái)自緬甸、柬埔寨和老撾的國(guó)際勞工(即MCL勞工)被禁止在泰國(guó)多個(gè)省份工作。本論文旨在探討國(guó)際勞工流動(dòng)政策對(duì)于泰國(guó)內(nèi)部移民的影響。以1990年及2000年內(nèi)部移民的微觀數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行實(shí)證分析,運(yùn)用引力模式和差分方法考察泰國(guó)人民的內(nèi)部遷移情況。實(shí)證結(jié)果顯示,此項(xiàng)政策使限制地區(qū)失業(yè)率降低,給當(dāng)?shù)貏趧?dòng)力市場(chǎng)帶來(lái)有利影響。政策同時(shí)也吸引了高技能及低技能勞動(dòng)力同時(shí)轉(zhuǎn)移到限制地區(qū)。然而,這不一定反映了,限制地區(qū)比擁有高比例人均GDP增長(zhǎng)的非限制地區(qū)發(fā)展得好。
