　　本文旨在分析美國小說家弗·斯各特·菲茨杰拉德的小說《夜色溫柔》中主人公迪克墮落的緣由。借助社會心理學(xué)中“身份理論”的一些概念,論文先就迪克的身份標(biāo)準(zhǔn)進(jìn)行探討,并以此分析并闡釋了迪克在自我實(shí)現(xiàn)過程中的行為表現(xiàn);然后借助身份排序,身份認(rèn)證等社會心理學(xué)概念,剖析了不同時期的迪克對自身不同身份的重視程度,以及社會背景和社會關(guān)系對迪克身份轉(zhuǎn)變產(chǎn)生的影響。經(jīng)過一系列分析討論后,作者得出結(jié)論:迪克內(nèi)心世界與外在世界的不可調(diào)和是造成其身份沖突的主要根源。迪克由于無法與第一次世界大戰(zhàn)后經(jīng)濟(jì)快速發(fā)展、金錢權(quán)利至上、道德淪喪的社會茍同,又無法解決自身存在的身份矛盾,以致自身衡量尺度失效,落得被社會拋棄的下場。因此是社會否定、他人否定和自我否定使迪克跌落進(jìn)悲劇的深淵�！兑股珳厝帷芬恢币詠肀徽J(rèn)為是菲茨杰拉德的自傳體小說,它完成于其妻澤爾達(dá)受精神病困擾期間。作者希望本文關(guān)于迪克的分析,將有助于對菲氏在這一階段所經(jīng)歷的精神困惑進(jìn)行研究。
