ARCHITECTURE OF INFORMATION INTEGRATION FOR SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

【摘要】：正In order to rapidly respond to the market changes, facilitate the flow and sharing of information and increase agility, the information supporting system is a hot area of research and development technologies in SCM. The development approach for supply chain is proposed by using the modular design methods based on multi-agent theory. It views the various functions in supply chains (e.g., production, planning, scheduling, transportation, distribution, and customers) as independent, autonomous and intelligent modules, therefore the supply chain can easily be integrated and reconfigured. After analyzing the current status of distributed computing and object-oriented programming techniques, the information integration architecture is presented to develop SCM systems which uses CORBA, WEB, Java/JDBC API, KQML protocols, network databases and multi-agent system. The paper studies its feasibility, and concludes that the integrated supply chain management based on advanced information and network technologies is the future trend for enterprise management.
