林語堂和辛格捍衛(wèi)民族文化的創(chuàng)作之比較

【摘要】:提到對民族的捍衛(wèi),各行各業(yè)的人有著不同的方式。軍人通過“宜將寶劍多砥礪,不叫神州起烽煙”來捍衛(wèi)祖國土地;作家則可以“將筆為劍常砥礪,以心系錘苦修行”來捍衛(wèi)民族文化。世界多元化發(fā)展使各民族在文化層面的交流增加了,然而任何一個民族都可能在紛繁復(fù)雜的文化接收中迷失了“民族個性”。因此捍衛(wèi)民族文化成為迫在眉睫的問題。本文選取中華民族和猶太民族文化的捍衛(wèi)者林語堂和辛格進(jìn)行平行研究。比較他們在捍衛(wèi)民族文化創(chuàng)作中運(yùn)用的具體方式的同異,以此來探討出21世紀(jì)作家捍衛(wèi)民族文化最有效的創(chuàng)作途徑。本文第一部分主要從宏觀層面概述了林語堂和辛格對民族文化的捍衛(wèi)意識,分別介紹“民族文化”是如何在兩位作家的作品中體現(xiàn)的以及他們二人進(jìn)行捍衛(wèi)民族文化的創(chuàng)作的優(yōu)勢。第二部分以文本細(xì)讀的方式研究林語堂和辛格的作品,歸納兩人作品中具體捍衛(wèi)民族文化的方式,總結(jié)出林語堂和辛格捍衛(wèi)民族文化創(chuàng)作方式的五個相同點(diǎn),即塑造被同化的人物以示警、弘揚(yáng)民族傳統(tǒng)倫理道德、澄清對本民族文化的誤解、細(xì)致刻畫民俗生活和揭露民族問題并探尋出路來捍衛(wèi)民族文化。第三部分論述林語堂和辛格對民族文化捍衛(wèi)方式的不同點(diǎn),即非母語和母語進(jìn)行創(chuàng)作和林語堂“娓語文體”和辛格“自語文體”風(fēng)格的差異。并分析不同的創(chuàng)作方式對傳遞民族文化產(chǎn)生的不同效果。第四部分通過比較研究林語堂和辛格捍衛(wèi)民族文化方式的相同點(diǎn)和不同點(diǎn)總結(jié)體現(xiàn)時代性的捍衛(wèi)民族文化有效方法,即作家要成為殫精竭慮的民族文化守望者和由淺入深的民族文化傳播者。
[Abstract]:When it comes to defending the nation, people in different industries have different ways. Soldiers can defend the land of the motherland by "strengthening the sword and not calling it", while the writer can defend the national culture with the pen as the sword and the heart as the hammer of bitter practice. The pluralistic development of the world has increased the communication among all ethnic groups at the cultural level, but any nation may have lost its "national individuality" in the complicated cultural reception. Therefore, safeguarding national culture has become an urgent problem. This article selects the Chinese nation and the Jewish national culture defender Lin Yutang and Singer to carry on the parallel research. This paper compares the similarities and differences of the concrete ways they use in defending the national culture, and probes into the most effective ways for the writers to defend the national culture in the 21st century. The first part of this paper summarizes Lin Yutang and Singh's consciousness of defending national culture from the macro level. This paper introduces how the national culture is embodied in the works of the two writers and their advantages in defending the national culture. The second part studies the works of Lin Yutang and Singer in the way of text reading, sums up the concrete ways of defending national culture in their works, and sums up the five similarities between Lin Yutang and Singh in defending national culture. That is to say, the assimilated characters should be shaped to warn, to carry forward the traditional ethics of the nation, to clarify the misunderstanding of the national culture, to portray the folk life in detail, to expose the national problems and to find a way out to defend the national culture. The third part discusses the differences between Lin Yutang and Singh in defending national culture, that is, the differences between non-native language creation and native language creation, and between Lin Yutang's "Chinese style" and "Singh's style of self-talk". And analyzes the different creation way to transmit the national culture to produce the different effect. The fourth part summarizes the effective methods of defending national culture by comparing the similarities and differences between Lin Yutang and Singer in defending national culture. In other words, the writer should become the national culture watcher and the national culture communicator.
