現(xiàn)代漢語心理動(dòng)詞“知道”的情態(tài)意義

情態(tài)作為一個(gè)語法范疇,表達(dá)說話人對(duì)句子中命題的真值或事件的現(xiàn)實(shí)性狀態(tài)的主觀態(tài)度,包括一系列語義概念:可能性、必要性、能力、意愿、義務(wù)、許可等。在眾多表達(dá)情態(tài)的語言手段中,情態(tài)助動(dòng)詞是最主要的形式載體,F(xiàn)代漢語中,“知道”通常作為心理動(dòng)詞,即蘊(yùn)涵心理狀態(tài)的動(dòng)詞,表示“對(duì)于事物或道理有認(rèn)識(shí)”或“懂得”之義。在句法上,“知道”有兩種用法,一種是作為實(shí)義動(dòng)詞,帶體詞賓語,即“知道+N”;一種是作為助動(dòng)詞,帶謂詞賓語,即“知道+V”,F(xiàn)有文獻(xiàn)已經(jīng)對(duì)“知道”從多個(gè)角度進(jìn)行研究,包括語義特征、句法環(huán)境、“X知道”固定構(gòu)式等,盡管有涉及其主觀性、認(rèn)知模式、情態(tài)萌芽等方面的研究,但大多數(shù)尚未深入到“知道”的情態(tài)意義表達(dá)的研究。因此,本文采用Palmer(1990)提出的傳統(tǒng)情態(tài)類型三分法,即把情態(tài)類型分為認(rèn)識(shí)情態(tài)、動(dòng)力情態(tài)與道義情態(tài),旨在描述、分析和解讀“知道”作為現(xiàn)代漢語中典型心理動(dòng)詞可表達(dá)的不同情態(tài)意義。本文從北京語言大學(xué)語料庫(BCC)中隨機(jī)收集3000條語料(使用“知道”作為謂語的句子)來構(gòu)成本研究所需的語料庫,通過定性與定量相結(jié)合的研究方法進(jìn)行細(xì)致觀察和分析,試圖回答三個(gè)問題:(1)“知道”可以...
