加納的性別歧視是一場持續(xù)的婦女斗爭,因?yàn)榇嬖谥畹俟痰奈幕蛡鹘y(tǒng)習(xí)俗,阻礙婦女和女孩享受和參與諸如獲得教育和保健等基本權(quán)利。這些缺陷在性別差距較大的農(nóng)村地區(qū)尤為明顯。研究人員試圖研究現(xiàn)有數(shù)據(jù)發(fā)現(xiàn),不僅是加納對性別歧視的看法,還有其他因素——如教育、宗教、職業(yè)等——均顯示并幫助解釋了這一主題的動(dòng)態(tài)。這項(xiàng)研究的主要目的是調(diào)查性別歧視的構(gòu)成和加納性別角色的社會(huì)文化差異,并分析性別歧視是否對加納的性別角色和婦女參與決策有任何影響。本研究采用獨(dú)立雙樣本t檢驗(yàn)進(jìn)行平均數(shù)相等性檢驗(yàn)。結(jié)果顯示,5個(gè)被測結(jié)構(gòu)之間存在顯著差異。這項(xiàng)研究的結(jié)論是,工作場所、家庭和治理中的性別角色之間確實(shí)存在差異,這在很大程度上是由性別歧視造成的。因此,建議政府、準(zhǔn)國家機(jī)構(gòu)和公民采取充分措施,減少國內(nèi)的性別偏見問題。
