本世紀(jì)初,有學(xué)者對(duì)1 375份人類cDNA文庫(kù)內(nèi)的所有基因進(jìn)行共表達(dá)分析,發(fā)現(xiàn)有8個(gè)轉(zhuǎn)錄本總是與基質(zhì)重塑相關(guān)的基因(如膠原、基質(zhì)金屬蛋白酶、骨成型蛋白等)共表達(dá),將它們命名為matrix-remodeling associated 1~8(MXRA1~8,暫譯"基質(zhì)重塑相關(guān)1~8"基因),但它們彼此之間并無(wú)序列同源性。隨后的研究確定了該家族中除MXRA7外其他7個(gè)成員的生物學(xué)功能,其中部分成員在研究中以其他別名出現(xiàn),比如MXRA4即CD93或C1qRP。國(guó)內(nèi)學(xué)者首先在關(guān)于角膜新生血管和角膜感染的研究中報(bào)道MXRA7表達(dá)的變化,繼而在化學(xué)誘導(dǎo)的肝損傷模型、免疫介導(dǎo)的銀屑病模型以及骨髓間充質(zhì)干細(xì)胞向成骨細(xì)胞、成脂細(xì)胞分化模型中證實(shí)MXRA7的重要作用;蚪M文庫(kù)數(shù)據(jù)顯示MXRA7在脊椎動(dòng)物中保守存在,且在人和小鼠等模型生物中均可以產(chǎn)生多種蛋白異構(gòu)體。大量公共數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)(比如GEO)中都包含MXRA7在不同實(shí)驗(yàn)體系中的表達(dá)水平和變化信息,眾多基于高通量分析的文獻(xiàn)也常在數(shù)據(jù)流水賬中對(duì)MXRA7一筆帶過(guò)。對(duì)這些資源進(jìn)行匯總分析,提示MXRA7基因產(chǎn)物可分布于胞外基質(zhì)、胞漿中甚至細(xì)胞核內(nèi),可參與胚胎發(fā)...
