【摘要】：提出用線性增益和增益斜率分別表征多電平全光幅度再生器的放大和整形特性。利用多電平全光幅度再生器的增益斜率曲線,可確定再生器的整形范圍、最佳工作點(diǎn)以及可再生電平數(shù)目。重點(diǎn)分析了基于馬赫-曾德爾干涉儀(MZI)的多電平全光幅度再生器整形特點(diǎn),其增益斜率曲線是一個(gè)余弦振蕩函數(shù),信號振幅越小,可再生電平數(shù)就越多。結(jié)果表明,脈沖幅度調(diào)制信號經(jīng)過MZI多電平全光幅度再生器后,幅度噪聲可得到有效抑制,但相位抖動增加。
[Abstract]:The amplification and shaping characteristics of multilevel all-optical amplitude regenerator are characterized by linear gain and gain slope, respectively. By using the gain slope curve of the multilevel all-optical amplitude regenerator, the shaping range, the optimum operating point and the number of renewable levels of the regenerator can be determined. The shaping characteristics of multilevel full-optical amplitude regenerator based on Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) are analyzed. The gain slope curve is a cosine oscillation function. The smaller the signal amplitude is, the more the renewable level is. The results show that the amplitude noise can be effectively suppressed but the phase jitter increases after the pulse amplitude modulation signal passes through the MZI multilevel all-optical amplitude regenerator.
