《中華人民共和國合同法》兩種英譯本對比研究

翻譯雖是一種實踐性很強的跨文化交際活動,仍需理論來指導。在東西方國家出現(xiàn)的眾多理論中,尤金·奈達的“功能對等”理論是最為廣泛接受的理論之一。奈達認為:“翻譯就是在譯語中再造出首先在意義上,其次在風格上與原語信息最切近而又自然的對等信息。”在將其理論運用于具體的翻譯工作時,奈達提出了一些實現(xiàn)功能對等的基本原則。 中文法規(guī)因其特殊的社會功能,其語言從詞匯,句法,篇章乃至風格方面都有其特殊之處。本論文依據(jù)奈達的翻譯理論對《中華人民共和國合同法》兩個中英對照本(1999年分別由法制出版社和外文出版社出版)的英譯文進行了比較研究,目的在于探索在中文法規(guī)英譯中實現(xiàn)“最切近而又自然的對等”的有效方法,同時探討《中華人民共和國合同法》英譯文在翻譯方面的某些可取或不當之處。 本論文共四章。第一章簡要介紹了奈達的“功能對等”理論及其在法規(guī)翻譯中的應(yīng)用。第二章對《中華人民共和國合同法》及其現(xiàn)有的兩種中英對照譯本作了簡介,并以中華人民共和國合同法為基礎(chǔ),重點討論了中文法規(guī)的風格和語言特點。第三、四兩章是論文的主體,系對上述兩個譯本進行的詳細的比較研究。第三章從準確傳達原文意義方面出發(fā),主要探討了譯...
