【摘要】:信息時(shí)代的21世紀(jì),隨著網(wǎng)絡(luò)化程度的不斷加深,網(wǎng)絡(luò)出版物也成為更為便利和重要的信息來(lái)源。而從海量的網(wǎng)絡(luò)出版物中搜索相關(guān)信息與論文時(shí),通常首先呈現(xiàn)出來(lái)的是摘要部分,因此寫(xiě)好摘要是一件極其重要的事情。一篇全面完整而又簡(jiǎn)明扼要的摘要能吸引許多潛在的讀者去深入了解并關(guān)注整篇文章。學(xué)術(shù)論文摘要是作者與讀者進(jìn)行深入學(xué)術(shù)交流的媒介。而對(duì)于當(dāng)代研究生來(lái)說(shuō),毋庸置疑,一篇獨(dú)立于全文而又能濃縮精華的摘要在其發(fā)表論文以及學(xué)位論文中都具有至關(guān)重要的作用。因此研究生們都需要為盡心盡力地撰寫(xiě)出意義明確,邏輯清晰,簡(jiǎn)單明了的摘要。近些年來(lái),已有一些國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)者對(duì)學(xué)術(shù)摘要的體裁及其語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn)做了相關(guān)研究(Swales,1990; Biber,2006; GeYang,2005)并指出,摘要通常表現(xiàn)出簡(jiǎn)潔性和完整性的特征,使得其呈現(xiàn)如此高信息密度的原因之一便是銜接方式的運(yùn)用,使得語(yǔ)篇更加銜接緊湊。韓禮德和哈桑(1976)系統(tǒng)闡述了五種主要銜接手段,包括指稱(chēng),省略,替代,連接以及詞匯銜接。銜接理論的研究和應(yīng)用也得到了很多學(xué)者的關(guān)注(McCulley,1985; Hinkel,2001; Zhang Meisuo,2000; YangSun,2012)但是目前對(duì)于研究生碩士論文摘要的銜接特征研究較少,尤其是不同學(xué)科背景下的對(duì)比研究。因此,本文試圖從中外對(duì)比和學(xué)科對(duì)比兩個(gè)角度來(lái)研究碩士論文英語(yǔ)摘要中的銜接運(yùn)用特征。 研究采用的數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)來(lái)源于PQDT(目前國(guó)內(nèi)最大的收藏歐美國(guó)家高校優(yōu)秀博碩論文的數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù))以及CDMD(中國(guó)優(yōu)秀博碩士學(xué)位論文全文數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù))。每個(gè)數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)中選取兩個(gè)專(zhuān)業(yè),即語(yǔ)言學(xué)和計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)隨機(jī)抽樣各30篇,兩個(gè)數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)共計(jì)120篇摘要樣本;陧n禮德和哈桑的銜接分類(lèi),本文總結(jié)了一套編碼方案。使用UAM語(yǔ)料庫(kù)軟件,對(duì)選取樣本進(jìn)行人工標(biāo)記,并結(jié)合自動(dòng)標(biāo)記軟件LCH的結(jié)果進(jìn)行對(duì)比和確認(rèn),然后進(jìn)行數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì)和分析討論。 本文主要研究目的是探索碩士論文摘要中銜接手段的應(yīng)用特征。定量分析和定性分析結(jié)合的研究方法,首先總結(jié)摘要作為一種特殊體裁,其銜接手段的特點(diǎn);其次對(duì)比中外研究生在運(yùn)用銜接手段方面的共性和個(gè)性并對(duì)具體問(wèn)題進(jìn)行分析討論。同時(shí)對(duì)語(yǔ)言學(xué)和計(jì)算機(jī)語(yǔ)言學(xué)兩個(gè)專(zhuān)業(yè)組進(jìn)行對(duì)比,研究學(xué)科之間是否也存在著銜接手段應(yīng)用的差異,并試圖分析其原因。 鑒于本文研究的是書(shū)面文體,銜接手段的研究主要關(guān)注指稱(chēng),連接和詞匯銜接三個(gè)方面。最終的統(tǒng)計(jì)數(shù)據(jù)分析發(fā)現(xiàn),總體上,碩士論文摘要中銜接手段的應(yīng)用具有一定體裁特征,即詞匯銜接最多,指稱(chēng)和連接分別次之。其次,通過(guò)對(duì)比分析發(fā)現(xiàn),中外差異性比較大,在指稱(chēng),連接和詞匯銜接三個(gè)方面均存在一定差異;而學(xué)科之間的差異較小,只在部分銜接手段方面有差異性,且差異顯著性不如前者。同時(shí)發(fā)現(xiàn),中國(guó)學(xué)生在應(yīng)用銜接手段時(shí)存在多用和誤用等問(wèn)題,尤其是詞匯銜接方面,詞匯的重復(fù)率較高,缺乏多樣性等。 最后,本文討論了相關(guān)研究結(jié)論對(duì)語(yǔ)篇分析理論和教學(xué)方面的啟示,同時(shí)分析了研究中存在的問(wèn)題并對(duì)未來(lái)研究提出一些改善建議和意見(jiàn)。
[Abstract]:In the twenty-first Century of the information age, with the deepening of the degree of networking, network publications have become more convenient and important sources of information. When searching for related information and papers from massive network publications, the summary is usually presented first, so it is a very important thing to write a good summary. A concise summary can attract a lot of potential readers to understand and pay attention to the whole article. The abstract is the medium of in-depth academic communication between the author and the reader. For the contemporary graduate students, an abstract, which is independent of the full text and can concentrate on the essence, is in its published papers and academic dissertations. It has a vital role to play. So the graduate students need to make the best effort to write a clear, clear, concise summary. In recent years, some domestic and foreign scholars have made relevant studies on the genre and language characteristics of academic abstracts (Swales, 1990; Biber, 2006; GeYang, 2005) and pointed out that the summary is usually shown. One of the reasons for its high density of information is that one of the reasons for its high density of information is the use of cohesion, which makes the text more compact. Hallidy and Hassan (1976) systematically elaborate five main cohesive devices, including reference, ellipsis, substitution, connection and lexical cohesion. The database used in the study comes from PQDT (the largest collection of outstanding European and American colleges and universities in European and American universities) and CDMD (the full text database of China's excellent master's dissertations). Each database selects two majors, namely, linguistics and computer science random sampling of 30 articles, and two databases in a total of 120 Abstracts Based on the convergence classification of Hallidy and Hassan, this paper summarizes a set of coding schemes. Using the UAM corpus software, the selected samples are labelled artificially, and the results of the automatic marking software LCH are compared and confirmed, and then data statistics and analysis are discussed.
The main purpose of this study is to explore the characteristics of the application of cohesive devices in the abstract of a master's thesis. The research method combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis is first summarized as a special genre and the characteristics of its cohesive devices. Secondly, it compares the commonness and personality of the Chinese and foreign Postgraduates in the use of cohesive devices and carries out the specific problems. At the same time, it compares the two major groups of linguistics and computer linguistics, and studies the differences in the application of cohesive devices between the subjects and tries to analyze the reasons.
In view of the writing style of this paper, the research of cohesive devices mainly focuses on three aspects of reference, connection and lexical cohesion. The final statistical data analysis shows that, in general, the application of cohesive devices in the master's thesis abstract has certain genre characteristics, namely, the most lexical cohesion, the reference and connection respectively. Secondly, through comparison and analysis. It is found that there are a lot of differences between China and foreign countries, and there are some differences in the three aspects of reference, connection and lexical cohesion, while the differences between the subjects are small and the differences are different only in some cohesive devices, and the difference is not as significant as the former. Meanwhile, it is found that Chinese students have problems of multipurpose and misuse in the application of the title, especially the vocabulary. Cohesion, lexical repetition rate is high, the lack of diversity.
Finally, this paper discusses the implications of the relevant research conclusions on the theory of discourse analysis and teaching, and analyses the problems in the study and puts forward some suggestions and suggestions for future research.
