解構(gòu)主義視角下對(duì)新維多利亞小說(shuō)《絳紅雪白的花瓣》中重復(fù)模式的研究

米歇爾·法柏(1960~)生于荷蘭,是當(dāng)代英語(yǔ)文壇著名的小說(shuō)家、詩(shī)人。其長(zhǎng)篇小說(shuō)《絳紅雪白的花瓣》出版于2002年,故事背景設(shè)于19世紀(jì)70年代的倫敦,敘事方式從當(dāng)代視角反觀(guān)維多利亞社會(huì),該類(lèi)型的小說(shuō)被稱(chēng)為“新維多利亞小說(shuō)”。新維多利亞小說(shuō)已成為當(dāng)代英語(yǔ)文學(xué)的一個(gè)重要流派并受到評(píng)論界越來(lái)越多的關(guān)注。本研究采用解構(gòu)主義的視角,以米勒的重復(fù)理論作為指導(dǎo)框架,以文本細(xì)讀的方法,通過(guò)文本結(jié)構(gòu)中“柏拉圖式重復(fù)”和“尼采式重復(fù)”這兩條相互交織的線(xiàn)索,探索小說(shuō)中詞句、意象、讖謠的重復(fù)以及反復(fù)出現(xiàn)的事件和場(chǎng)景對(duì)于人物形象塑造和情節(jié)發(fā)展的重要作用,同時(shí)引入新批評(píng)派復(fù)義理論,通過(guò)對(duì)文本的開(kāi)放闡釋以及敘事中出現(xiàn)的一系列相似情節(jié)對(duì)每種解讀的反復(fù)驗(yàn)證探索新維多利亞小說(shuō)中可能存在的更多重復(fù)方式。小說(shuō)中的人物疊加了希臘神話(huà)、童話(huà)和經(jīng)典維多利亞小說(shuō)的多重原型,并通過(guò)二元對(duì)立的消解打造出更為復(fù)雜的人物和情節(jié),以此體現(xiàn)新維多利亞小說(shuō)對(duì)傳統(tǒng)維多利亞小說(shuō)的繼承和突破。小說(shuō)在主題上還與現(xiàn)代主義小說(shuō)相契合,通過(guò)揭示維多利亞人對(duì)現(xiàn)實(shí)的無(wú)奈和對(duì)未來(lái)的無(wú)限困惑折射出當(dāng)代人同樣面臨的生存困境和文化焦慮,體現(xiàn)出強(qiáng)烈的現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。
