【摘要】：在小說《紅字》中,作家霍桑用一系列象征意象來闡釋作品的內(nèi)涵主題,《紅字》的象征意象具有多重涵義并帶有鮮明特征。紅字符號暗含著情節(jié)與人物、環(huán)境之間的關(guān)系,架構(gòu)起整部小說的內(nèi)容。象征主義的成功運用,使《紅字》的內(nèi)涵達到一定高度,成為經(jīng)久不衰的文學(xué)經(jīng)典。
[Abstract]:In the novel the Scarlet letter the writer Hawthorne uses a series of symbolic images to explain the connotation theme of his works. The symbolic images of the Scarlet letter have many meanings and have distinct characteristics. The red letter symbolizes the relationship between plot, character and environment, and constructs the content of the whole novel. The successful use of symbolism makes the connotation of the Scarlet letter reach a certain height and become an enduring literary classic.
